So I finally have time to plan the IAH-SEA-IAH flights to go around the SEA-NRT trip that I booked ages ago. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how many days to spend in SEA? I was thinking 2, but the other half suggests an extra day or two. We have the vacation time and neither of us have been there before, but I'm just debating if I should burn 4 days worth of hotel points in SEA

Interesting.

Mr. Cranky runs a service that gets people out of IRROPs jams. IIRC he calls it the Cranky Concierge. More misuse of that word.

Four days in SEA is good if you want to do more than the city. Do the morning tour from www.letstourseattle.com and then use another day to go back and hit any points you find more interesting. Do the Boeing plant in Everett.

My thought is that we start our own little consulting service. We all do it already for friends and family, why not market it? I've had a domain name in my pocket waiting for something to come along - usethosemiles.com

My college roommate just emailed me the other day, needing a 2300-mi MR out of BOS or MIA on AA to get her first elite status ever. She's never done this kind of thing before but was "intrigued by all that crazy flying I do". Warmed my heart. :D

My grandchild - I don't know which one - called and asked that I wire thousands of dollars to another country. What should I do?

JFK immigration was a complete mess this afternoon. I did see what looked to be an OS 767 with winglets, it looked weird. Sorry no pics as I was trying to beat the masses to the immigration line. Now im riding the LIRR.

Welcome back. I saw the OS 767 with winglets at IAD yesterday.

Looks fun; great suggestions!

Some fooling with ITA shows that UA sells their codeshares on US metal for less than US sells its own flights. I'm used to codeshares being more expensive.

We;ve been cooking on a similar scheme for a few months now. The food actually tastes better and we're not having any problems at all getting enough. Actually quite the opposite in most cases.

Yeah...Brees ripped apart the Patriots D in the 2nd quarter. I wonder if it'll last.
