Only if you had a Recreational Vehicle.

Looking at the map, that's about a 20-minute walk around the edge of the MIT campus. IME winter in Boston is cold -- the wind can be terrible, lots of black ice on the sidewalks -- but not usually snowy. You can't really take the T, since you'd have to walk 10 minutes in the wrong direction to get to Central Square.

I am probably a bad source of advice, though, because I tend to stay in a hotel as close to my place of business as possible unless there is a huge difference in price. I suppose it depends on what the rate at the LM is and how badly you want the points. The only other SPG property I know of around there is the Sheraton Commander in Cambridge, which is two T stops away near Harvard Square.

I get the price thing, but if it is business travel, then there is some leeway for taxi travel, etc. If not forced to walk and the commute is not hellish, then why not entertain other hotels, especially if one doesn't need to return to the room at any point during the day? Heck - normally my hotels were at least 40 minutes from the supplier so I guess I'm biased. :)

I started watching online (my wife is in control of the TV), and, as usual, the Br:rolleyes:wns started to play like garbage the minute I started to watch. I quickly turned it off.

Sure, but that requires some extreme positioning. The new apartment is ~15 minutes from PHL. :-:

Ricky Schroder
Goofball Steve Zahn
Tony Soprano
Aragorn

I'm now wondering whether it is possible to do a RTW all on true 737s (not BBJs in all-J configuration), without any backtracking. CM and CO can take you a long way, and MH and KQ both operate the type. If there's anyone operating between West Africa and far Eastern Brazil with the type, it should be possible. :-:

GRRRR. CO CXLD my YUL-EWR flight and decided to rebook me Sat morning for a YUL-EWR-IAH-SNA itin getting me in at 4:15pm. I'm flying back at 10:30pm.

Of course it's the only YUL-EWR flight they canceled and the agent is insisting it was due to the TSA's requirement for weather. :(

Once CO starts KEF-EWR you'll be able to do it. :D

TACV had to go and ruin the dream by operating a 757 between the Cape Verde Islands and Fortaleza.
