Petty is like a bluegrass band, goes on forever when you wished they/he had quit after the first song. :D

It's hard to believe that was the last show. :(

Petty rocks. Edgar Winters (4 songs feel like almost an hour) and Skid Row are perfect excuses to go get more beer.

Speaking of Petty, the Replacements opened up for him during a summer tour and I really enjoyed the show. Brother has an impressive list of great songs.

Very true. Don't expect a lot of in-depth thought as well.

Nonsense. Men are actually very deep thinkers. It's an inevitable consequence of trying to understand creatures that make about as much sense as Unicorns (but are just as lovely). The food, beer, lovin' and football are mere coping mechanisms which float over the top of teh Unicorn conundrum.

It is one of the cool things I can share w/my son -- he's OK with having a 'rocker Mom' who's into funk & reggae, among varied genres!;)

Well, change "are" to "can be," and it's about right. Some are just life-support systems for erections. I defer to "Jersey Shore."
