It seems that my Media Center Extender cannot read from my Media Center (W7) PC running in a VM. :(

I'm going to rebuild this morning as a W7 machine running a 2008 Server VM inside it. That should be fun.

As promised last night, full analysis of the new US *A charts is complete. Many rewards went up, some a ton of points. Yet I didn't see any categories where they were notably more expensive than CO or UA. So they don't suck terribly but there are no longer the gems that used to exist (like 80K to EU in C).

As for pics I don't have a camera with me and my phone camera is not of decent quality. I will be back here next weekend so will take pics then.

The truth that I have been preaching around here was that US Dividend Miles were the most valuable of all. But since I don't fly them at all any more, I just burned up all of them before this big change took effect.

Now my *A miles can go to an airline that I really fly although I have just registered with BD. I need to do a bit of research to see if that is really that much better for me than OnePass considering my largely domestic business trip pattern with the same destinations over and over again.

While I am 'jumping the gun' a bit here -- once I attain OP Plat -- I was wondering if I should then try to status match w/BD or a carrier outside *A. Pretty much all my travel is personal -- so it's not likely I would attain Plat again, unless there are DEQM promos, etc. I do plan to get to Europe next year, but otherwise my usual 'overseas' destinations are Brasil & Mexico!:-:

Wow, 763 to ORD only 69 checked in thus far. Screen does show 34 standbys cleared.
