I turned the TV onto Closed Captioning - if a "you've got to be kidding me" gets exclaimed during the lecture, I do have the capability to edit. I had to cut together parts of both lectures I've done today ...

Did you explain the hierarchy of *A accounts, e.g. UA behind BD and CO but above US?

Headset on, software queued - I'll be gone for at least 15 minutes.

Nah. I wasn't about to press my luck with already having gotten someone on the other end of the phone that was surprisingly competent.

Indeed.

Oh, then no need to worry about software upgrades until you upgrade the device. I think they've long since stopped releasing upgrades for those models.

Dissing my phone I see but being off-contract and with state government discount my phone overall makes me rather happy.

Converting lecture on price and income elasticity to Flash - no glitches, swear words, etc. so I got through the demonstration on a single take.

I have a trip to STL where I need to be there late enough in the day that the US E175 is very inconvenient, and even WN's times aren't good. I am tempting fate by connecting on UA for each leg of the three leg trip... but the alternative was connecting on AA and taking a US transcon home, and I need the DEQMs to requalify as 1P.

If Saturday's upgrades all clear for my return trip, which it looks like they will, I'll have flown 4,558 BIS miles on 2 E-500s. Amazing what you can do with UA's routing rules for a simple ATL-MSY roundtrip.

Saturday I'll touch every UA hub in North America exept for those in California.

No I'm not dissing it. Just stating the simple facts — the latest software upgrades are only being released on phones with more than 64 MB of memory, which eliminates even some of the earlier trackball models.

I need to give the laptop a rest - at least move it off my lap - it churns and really heats up to render Flash presentations ...
