Yup....it's a great old theatre with some really good shows. This event last night was a fundraiser for a small community theater where one of the higher-up's is friends with Colbert from when they were both first starting out. He interviewed him, there were questions from the audience, etc. and Stephen was out of character for 95% of the night. It really was a fantastic show that gave a lot of insight into who the real Stephen Colbert really is.

Oh...and Ms. GadFly was 100% surprised and didn't know who we were seeing until they actually announced his name on stage (I had her look down as we walked in so she wouldn't see the name on the marque). About an hour before showtime, she was convinced it was either Wanda Sykes or Larry David.

To all the peoples heading to the great :-:DO, have a fantastic time....I'll be thinkin' of you all while I'm in headed to SDF this Wednesday. Speaking of which....will anyone be in EWR terminal A on Wednesday late morning/early afternoon??

Oh....and congrats sbm12 for the quote in the article! ^

This past weekend I flew on a "Star Team Alliance" , a "Star Alliance Team", a "Sky Team", and a "Sky Team sorry Star Alliance" flight.

Was pretty funny, not one flight attendant announcement out of four got it right.

I was on a "Sky......{pause}.....no....wait.....Star Alliance" flight last week.

Tuesday is going to be a VERY LOOOOOONNNNNNG day.

It just hit me how true this is. If we have to be at the super-secret meeting place by 0730, and the first chance to relax after that is, I'm assuming, putting butt in seat on LH405, that's about a 20-hour day if you think of how long you're awake.

Morning, Box.

I have no plans for anything crazy tonight - go to the pizza party, and then back to the hotel. If anyone is going to be at ORD around the time I am, please advise. I land at 6:14 and am taking the first available Westin shuttle. IIRC, all of the Boxers attending ORD have my cell number.

I do wish I could attend the ORD festivities. But, alas I can't. Right now i may be cutting my EWR arrival tomorrow pretty close.

Has it been made clear if a CO elite is eligible for an upgrade on a flight sold on .bomb but operated by CO?

I think its about the metal, not the ticket.

Coffee. Must. Have. Coffee.

Grand Suites at teh Westin Minneapolis are nicer than Parlor Suites. :-:

I keep re-reading that story about the GS who snatched the boarding pass. I find it amazing on a level that defies description. Is the worst part that I have absolutely no problem believing it?

You mean that super-secret place that so many people couldn't find out where it was and I could find out by just looking on the website and I'm not even going on the trip?

Today is coffee-free, sadly. I'd rather be a little tired and snooze on the flight.

I woke up at 03:45 to enjoy MSP-IAH on an ERJ at 05:30, then to work, then to class until 21:30. Coffee is a must.

They would prefer that the specific meeting spot not be common knowledge.

I'm just commenting on how so many people couldn't find that information when it was in plain sight for the whole world to see if they knew where to look and the people looking for the information had been told where to look.
