I have, or will have with the tickets I have already booked, 37,391 EQM's. So I could get away with a 6,305 mile flight + DEQM to reach Plat.

A transcon routed through MIA? JFK-MIA-SFO/LAX/SEA, etc. Full disclosure - I've not priced anything out but that would get you the miles you needed.

Have not yet seen any spectacular TATL prices yet but obviously an option.

If he wants to fly US, I think I'll have to speak with him. :p

Because he is (historically) REALLY good at doing so.

That must be based on last year, since he didn't pitch on 3 days rest in 2007, when he was horrible anyway.

And did I mention that Sabathia was awful pitching for the Indians in 2007?

Negative. I got a domestic agent who was exceedingly polite.

There is only one US flight worth flying from STL, which is the early morning one on an E175. The rest of them are CRJs. Your other alternative STL-PHL is WN.

After sbm12's comments, I looked up flights from STL to NYC. Your choices are AA to LGA, AA's ERJ's to EWR, or a single DL CR7 to JFK. You may actually be better off driving to PHL depending on what part of NJ you live in.

I was able to check in just fine for mine. Flying nearly 1,800 BIS miles tomorrow and upgraded the whole thing on a single E-500. :D

I'm impressed! I am doing the same thing, in a minor key, next week. I have a trip to STL where I need to be there late enough in the day that the US E175 is very inconvenient, and even WN's times aren't good. I am tempting fate by connecting on UA for each leg of the three leg trip... but the alternative was connecting on AA and taking a US transcon home, and I need the DEQMs to requalify as 1P.

Unbelievable. Pandy to the rescue!

Another lecture converted to Flash and posted online. I'm starting to learn some of this software ^

icurhere2 Nov 1, 2009 6:59 pm

OMG - McCarver just explained that a sequence was "more than one".

icurhere2 Nov 1, 2009 7:00 pm

If I put the TV on mute and record one more lecture, I won't have to listen to McCarver ...

I've heard a rumor that if Tim McCarver and Larry King are placed in a room together, it is the equivalent of an antimatter bomb...except instead of explosive force, little particles of stupidity will scatter for miles around.

Okay, 8pm, garbage bags at the ready and battle plan prepared. I'm going to work. Back later.

Indeed. I was expecting the ICC and I stayed within the country. Her voice was unmistakably American, and she even suggested that I join MP to get miles for such a large-earning itinerary. She then happily entered my CO number. :D
