Just going thru the week's second and third tier emails, and opened one from CO regarding points dot com, dated yesterday.

It looks like they are very behind it, offering miles for playing. The company is Canadian, listed, and evidently funded. Stock is trading with low thirty CAD cent handle.

Mr. Petersen should have spun out Coupon Connection as an IPO.

Wonder if the airlines have pieces of it. Too lazy to check the filings; anybody know?

Yeah, but EUA is broken so you won't get to lie in them.

From what I understand;), it is not that EUA is broken, it is rather that CO advertises complimentary upgrades, but it never delivers upon them. Some drivel about wanting to sell airline seats or some such flight of fancy for profit. Pure rubbish I tell you. I am going to pay $125.00 for a 6000 mile transcontinental flight and fly in the premium cabin every time especially say 6:00 p.m. on a Thursday. I will not settle for less and will do everything in my power to remind people on the Internet of this grave injustice.... no blatant crimes against humanity.

Ok, Y'all did I get the above tirade right?:D

Throw in something about cheese soup, feet on the bulkhead, and CO employees in F, and you're close. ;)

Pretty close, except the only way you might get a 6000 mi T-Con is if someone is allowed to re-hire those boys from the NW flight.

And if there are any kids under 18 in the F cabin, warn them you're moving your business to AeroFlot.

Fair point was figuring RT and connections.:p As I said, still working at this complaining/ranting thing. Even after my years of FT, it still does not come as second nature to me.:p:D

Air Astana has better benefits.

Maybe xFF could use this to eradicate the boars on his property:

@GTITAN, if business is slow, here's an idea for an asset backed securitization: buy a few billion miles from the carriers, with agreement that they pay some amount for redeemed miles on some formula. Liabilities go down, liquidity goes up, legal fees soar.

No credit risk beyond the sponsor (CDS that away) and it's all pure timing tranches.

Looking at points dot com gave me the idea. No consulting fee necessary.

WOW! Apparently National Car Rental has somebody reading their forum on here and sending out messages to people who have complained. I just got the following e-mail:

Hello,

I work for National Car Rental and read the post about your recent experience with your rentals. We would like to have someone contact you directly to address your concerns. If you could please send me a phone number where you can be reached, I will have Alan Ball, our airport market manager at LAX call you promptly.

Sincerely,

Meghan
Unfortunately I have no idea what I complained about at LAX, so I'll have to go find the post.

I'd much rather them deal with the far bigger issues I've had at MSY and BTR this year, though. I think my comment about LAX was just how the Executive Selection there has come to mean "40,000 mile Sonata or a minivan."

Ok, Y'all my vote for the  thread of today goes to the AA Forum. Someone there is having an argument with Expert Flyer Voice that Expert Flyer voice has changed its policies, and accusing the representative of EF Voice of having been just hired and not knowing how EF works.

This is a classic IMHO of we on FT know more than everyone else ...
