I could abuse US (in F) for BD miles. I need a BD match to begin pondering my 2010 abuse, though.

It's the ultimate "DYKWIA".

He could have taken Acela to NYC from WAS.

EWR got a repreive under President Bush. President Clinton, on the other hand, just could not stay out of New York, and it seemed every time he was going to EWR, so was I, at least to the point where 1&9 were shut down.

I really believe they used EWR over JFK simply because of the New York attitude that "that little airport in Jersey isn't that important, but is still sort of convenient."

flight cancelled -- help, pls!

Hey guys!

My flight to EWR from STL was cancelled -- I think due to Obama in NJ. Am rebooked on the 6:10a t'morrow morning, but would like to see if there's another routing to get me in to EWR - tonight -- via CLE or IAH, either works for me.

Thanks, in advance!^

mnmag, it looks like your best bet would be AA 1060, STL-LGA (departs at 07:00pm), but it is zeroed out. :(

US 3950 STL-PHL (departs 06:45pm) has seats!

Were you not pre-up'd to silver before your trip? If so, did you get the Silver Elite line number? If not, someone might be able to help you with that as well in PM.

Thanks, ALCO! ^It looks like I'm best on the 6:10a in the morning -- I really don't wanna go to PHL or LGA as this late hour!

UA RCC by B18 at ORD is nice! This is by far one of the nicest domestic lounges I have seen.

Found it, thanks!

I know this isnt an AA crowd but I just did the calculations and I am 12,609 EQM's away from requalifying for Plat on AA. Ive tried some random routings to the west coast but cant seem to get the miles I need for under ~$300. Any ideas or should I just send J.Edward a PM?

Indeed. It reminds me a lot of a Luftwaffe lounge personally.

I'm afraid to ask this question in the UA forum, and wouldn't know where to start on the UA site. This little tale of self-entitlement gone mad is from the "First trip on UA" thread:

"...a GS member took away their boarding passes not knowing that they had actually paid for their premium class seats. The GS member demanded an upgrade and insulted the parents of the passenger."

My question is: just what exactly provides GS status on UA, and about how many of them are there?

Flightmemory fully updated - both my own and the Box FM.

Hopefully spared the wrath of ALCO for another day ;)
