Bear d:rolleyes:wn, Chicago Bears.

They are playing the Br:rolleyes:wns at home and have already scored 16 points. They have the game won. If I'm reading ESPN correctly, Anderson has completed one pass for four yards.

I lost interest in the NFL when the original Browns left town in the '90s. The new Br:rolleyes:wns are turning me into an Eagles fan.

And this statement is Flyertalk heresy.

Well, there's always a 12-day Honolulu to Tahiti. Fly EWR-HNL, cruise to PPT, and come home PPT-AKL-SFO-EWR. :D

They haven't looked pretty doing it. First 5 series for both teams were 3-and-outs. First three trips into the red zone for the Bears: FG, FG, FG.

I was, until a few minutes ago, watching the New York Football Giants get lit up by Teh Iggles. I heard the Philly fans once again teach the rest of us how to spell the name of the team and walked away. My level of passionate hatred for Eagles fans really cannot be quantified.

The Br:rolleyes:wns' "rubber band" defense strikes again. Of course, it helps if you actually score any points.

Maybe they just learned how and want to show off their new knowledge.

As I recall, Jets fans do the same thing. Br:rolleyes:wns fans just swear at the television.

I asked that very question at my fiancee's dinner table at the start of the preseason. I wondered out loud if all the Eagles fans have to have a meeting to re-learn how to spell the team's name. Her father, a lifelong resident of the area just across the Delaware, was not thrilled. But the look on his face was priceless.

Ugh, Jets fans and that chant. I went to a Jets-Denver game last season and they were doing the chant over and over and over again for no discernible reason. At least hockey fans make sense - they chant for the team when the tempo and momentum of the game demand it.

It's official: Browns fans are the nicest fans on earth.

I use your hatred of Twitter as the gold standard. Nothing else really measures up.

Thanks, I guess, but what leads you to say this? Having sat in the Dawg Pound in the old stadium on occasion I'm not sure I'd agree.

Anyone who is enough of a lunatic to travel out of town to see this edition of the Br:rolleyes:wns is either very dedicated or needs some advice on what else to do on a weekend in Chicago.

St. Louis Cardinals fans are the nicest I've met.

True, my right side is pretty red. How long did you stay after we left? We also went down to South Beach and had a $20 margarita and watched all the crazies come out.

Now that the Vet is no more and Seamus McCaffery is on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court (seriously) the chant may have replaced the need for meetings.

Weve talked about doing it but there are so many places we want to go before we do a cruise. My parents wanted to take the family on a cheapo Caribbean cruise this next summer but we booked a Euro trip during the dates they were looking at.

We're a good bunch.

I've lived in Chicago for 9 years, but I can't give up the Cardinals. Especially to switch to the Cubs.
