Grand Suites at teh Westin Minneapolis are nicer than Parlor Suites. :-:

When you're a Gold, the parlor suites (in my case, spg.com referred to mine as a Renewal Suite) aren't a bad upgrade when paying $89/night. :)

On what floor(s) are the Grand Suites? I think I was on the top floor and was confused that I didn't see any indication of lager suites around.

I had a great set of UA flights yesterday. Amazing crews on PHX-ORD and ORD-MSP, and the lunch served on PHX-ORD (Steak Salad) was excellent. Was really happy when we landed at ORD early, and the Lounge Angel at the B18 RCC was able to confirm me on the 06:37pm ORD-MSP flight in F instantly. Also got to sample UA's new all-leather interior (including F seats) on the A320 from ORD-MSP. ^

Grand Suite was actually on the Third Floor, just down from the pool and fitness center.

They would prefer that the specific meeting spot not be common knowledge.

I am well-trained in the principles of operational security and will not be releasing any locations until such time as the event at that location has passed. ^

I did say that to someone when they innocently asked me a question whose answer was classified. :D

It just hit me how true this is. If we have to be at the super-secret meeting place by 0730, and the first chance to relax after that is, I'm assuming, putting butt in seat on LH405, that's about a 20-hour day if you think of how long you're awake.

Agreed. There will be some pseudo-relaxation time on the ORD-EWR flight but not much. Even less for me since I'm apparently working the flight as the group photographer. Given the opportunity I highly recommend trying to grab a nap on that flight. Even 20 minutes will be a big win.

And even though the locations are not particularly secret, the organizers asked us not to share them. They have done so and that is their prerogative, not ours. :-:

Check-in is at the WN counter, 4th from the left.

Still no BD miles from last weekend's US flights. I think it might be time to scan and email some boarding passes...
