All of the M-Ups are keeping my upgrade numbers static.

We'll see if I have any luck the old fashioned way next week on the craptastic W fares the travel dragon at work bought me.

I never managed to get on a flight with a movie until 1991, when I flew DFW-MCO on a DL 762. Before that it had all been WN, AA (MD-80s and 727s), and CO (mostly DC-9s and 727s, back when CO was at its absolute worst). Of course in 1991 the overhead video was pretty cool. I still remember the movie — LA Story, starring Steve Martin. Dinner was lasagna and salad, with a little piece of chocolate cake. It was also part of my first solo airplane trip, and I was quite impressed when the gate agent handed me a boarding pass and the letter was either a K or L — I quickly realized that I was about to get my first widebody flight.

I just tried the dried fruit at the DL lounge and it is great. Im trying to figure out how to smuggle a ziplock bag full of it out of here for the flight.

I had it for the first time a week ago at MSY, at breakfast. It was quite tasty.

I need to do some maneuvering tomorrow - changing my flight departure day on Wednesday (from Friday to Saturday) meant I lost F on one of the segments.

I won't even sit backwards on mass transit, no less a flight.

I've ridden nearly five hours backwards on the TGV, from Narbonne to Paris. I had no choice in that one; assigned seat in a very full first class car, so it wouldn't have been possible to switch. I also rode backwards from London to Edinburgh last year.

I liked the snickerdoodles and oatmeal. The chocolate chip never were all that great.

zzzz..............

Anyone know if WN ever had the seats with tables on 737s? My first flights were when I was four, on WN, during a period when they operated 727s. I have a vague memory of boarding and there being lounge seats with tables in the front of the aircraft on at least one of the segments.

Procuring the Kippie bag itself wouldn't be the problem ...

I don't mind riding backwards, I have done it in sleeper car on amtrak for many hours. You get used to it after a while and it is neat sometimes as someone looking the other way can point out something and tell you, and you can see it longer :)

they still have the same flavors, but are the texture of soft cardboard and about the same taste.

The WC oatmeal raisin were my option of choice.

I lucked out today with a five day EUA on a Q fare on IAH-ATL. It was a 735, there were only three upgrades, and F was showing only 3 seats open two weeks ago. Y was quite full when I booked the ticket too — so full the best seat I could get in Y two weeks ago when I purchased the ticket was a non-exit aisle seat in the back. Even most of the middles in the elite section up front were assigned.

Four different SCs according to my current plan (BNA, ATL E ex-J, ATL A-17, ATL A Centerpoint). And I might have two cookies in four hours due to my tolerance of baked goods.
