This type of doodoo is why I try not to use UPS when I have a choice. Back in my document imaging days they used to pull all kinds of games WITH ORIGINAL COPIES of documents. We got mashed boxes with tire marks on them and they had the dangly parts to say that was how they received them, when it was one of our staff who had done the shipping from a client site and had used new boxes.

Seconded. For anything inflight, so long as it has radar service, FlightAware will display it, albeit on a six-minute delay.

this is just unacceptable, I have had over 300 boxes shipped to this address this year alone, and this last 1.5 weeks they all of a sudden go whack!
I also had a station manager in BSL go out of his way after hours to get my AMEX information so they could pay Swiss customs and get my electronic discovery equipment to GVA in time for the arrival of my staff. ^^ |

Did I miss something? Did Mackieman get the job? I know Baglady is recuperating well, and know Mackieman went for an interview. Did I miss that he got the job? I hope I did - in the sense that I hope he got the job!!
I am not good at waiting on things like this, sigh. |
J&J Tri-State delivery (also known as "Two Russian dudes and a truck") just dropped off the 30 huge boxes that will soon be the cabinets in my new kitchen. Right now watching TV in the living room "Is Not Possible"...thank goodness for SlingBox!

Two biopsies will be performed from the tumor that was removed. The first is a frozen sample and that has already come back benign. The second sample has to be “de-calcified” before it is tested and that will take 10 -14 days; but her doctors are very confident that too will come back clean. We are very thankful.

Not only is the construction project on the length of our street long over schedule, but they decided to completely close it today without any notice (beyond my neighbor hollering at me when I took the dawg out to tinkle). Yep, it is paving time - NOW! Never mind those of us who work from home or soccer mom's doing their thing, some dude from the city is chasing down cars and saying no, no, no while tar is getting sprayed and dump trucks stage with asphalt. That's right, for the next 2-3 hours I am under house arrest.
The gas / water company came out to replace the last segment of water pipe and managed to get a mole (their pneumatic version of a plumbing snake) stuck in the line. Sound familiar? They had to dig up my yard (again), sidewalk, and street. |
