This is the MD Anderson lie flat chair.

In the locked and upright position

The "footrest in a drawer©"

As flat as it gets. Not quite 180 degrees, but close.

^^

Glad to hear baglady is home and resting comfortably. Wishing her a quick recovery!

Very true, except a paragraph is a bit much. My fare rules would be: I sell, you buy.

Comfy TP is not a luxury it is a duty (homonym pun intended).

We got home yesterday around 6:45pm and got her into her own bed.

Two biopsies will be performed from the tumor that was removed. The first is a frozen sample and that has already come back benign. The second sample has to be “de-calcified” before it is tested and that will take 10 -14 days; but her doctors are very confident that too will come back clean. We are very thankful.

Her pain level is pretty high after getting off of the IV pain medication and going to oral meds. However, she is very happy to be home. Her parents will be with us for at least a week and Steph is very comforted by their presence as well as their help.

My guess is that she’ll be back on her laptop tonight or tomorrow.

Thanks for all of your notes, well wishes and prayers.

Thanks for posting about the negative biopsies...that's fantastic news!!! Tell baglady that we hope she feels better soon. She may be in pain but I'm sure it no worse than EWR-HKG in 44E :D

Look at my FM....I'm not speaking from experience. The only ride on a 777 I've ever had was a Houston/Newark hub-run and I was in a comfy seat. My travel is so patheticaly domestic that I have to be jealous of crappy international coach seats.

Fun with movies

Plus1, since you're a fan of all things movie-riffic, I thought you might like this site. It takes movies and animated bunnies and.....well....just take a look.

'morning b:rolleyes:x. Been a hectic day at work so far.

Last night's Chase event at Morton's was quite nice! They had Chase & CO reps there mingling and asking questions and being a resource. It was a fun time had by everyone (except maybe the ride home for my wife...)

The US had virtually all of the Japanese diplomatic cable traffic, since all that traffic traversed the US moving from Europe to Asia, and the British double agents under Sir John Masterman's office had specific information regarding war preparations and fleet building.

The issue is whether the missing pieces of the fleet code fell into place in the few months between the Pearl Harbor and Midway attacks, or before. Reading "Day of Deceit," there is some compelling evidence that it was prior.

To me, the treatment of an Ambassador by the Secretary of State on a non-working day is the biggest tell that, at least in the government, if not at the 7th Fleet headquarters, there was knowledge.

If so, it will not be officially disclosed, certainly, until anyone directly affected by the Pearl Harbor attack is gone, and that probably includes children of those lost. If ever.

I thought there was pretty good evidence that an attack was imminent but the question was where. There were people who thought Guam or the Philippines would be attacked first, leading the military to go as far as evacuating Guam of all civilians.
