The gas / water company came out to replace the last segment of water pipe and managed to get a mole (their pneumatic version of a plumbing snake) stuck in the line. Sound familiar?

They had to dig up my yard (again), sidewalk, and street.

And up until now, you had made living in TN sound so attractive. :D

As this is the water company's fault, they are still paying for today.

The question is who is most willing to host Box Trivia. @:-)

I don't think we'll be ready for Box trivia night. I'm thinking all the projects in-process and planned will take about a year. The first floor could possibly be ready for guests in a few months.....of course at that time, we'll have absolutely ZERO money left over (and I know this crowd) so it will have to be BYOB :p

Hey Box Buds,

Hope everyone has had a good week. I have been crazy swamped with work (uggh), including a quick trip to DFW this week. Next week we start the weekly DFW thing up again - through April.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Go Buckeyes. Go Browns.

;)

BD unless I needed the miles in CO.

While CO may be a harlot BD is still the whore and we should enjoy it while we can.

Hi B:rolleyes:X! No time to catch up on the posts since last night! Am totally fried & it's only 2pm! Don't know how my body decided that 'late to bed, early to rise' is such a 'healthy' habit! At least I've a productive work day, -- other stuff -- not so much!

Going totally 'wobbly-bonkers' (thanks, Brit!) w/new BB Tour - my first BB! Hugely intimidated! At least I know how to make & receive calls - lol!:D Then managed to piss off daughter, as I had to use 'her' upgrade for my phone, after using 'mine' for her in April -- so to switch BB to correct line -- had to deactivate hers, temporarily. Problem is, she was in class at college -- so no way to contact her other than leave VM, which, of course, she couldn't receive! (The old phone I was using is a non-text friendly one!) :o:rolleyes:

Day can only get better now!;) Will need the caffeine boost first!:D

Hope everyone has a great w/end! Don't exactly see posting in my immediate future --as I will be getting on a flight w/B]Brit[/B] to PHX tonight for MR seminar -- maybe she can post for the both of us!^

That domestic map belongs to Seat2A. His international map is pretty good, as well (especially in the Western Hemisphere). 3.7M BIS tends to fill in the map nicely.

I wonder what they hell they do.

IIRC from reading one of his trip reports, he mentions driving the tour buses through Denali National Park (given the price of the tickets, I'm imagining the drivers are reasonably well-compensated). I've never met the guy, but my impression is that he works like hell during tourist season to make some $$$, lives frugally, then does domestic MRs while Alaska's frozen over in order to bank enough miles for some first-class overseas trips.

ETA: Oh, hey, 1800 posts!

Good to hear things are going good. I wont make it down for pride this weekend but am still hoping to make it down for the Pam Ann show on Oct. 20th. Have a good weekend with the other OSU! ;)

It's always fun to spend someone else's money (ie, the company's) on airfare. Especially when it's ORD-NRT-CAN-NRT-ORD in C. :-: Thanks to DEQM + COS bonuses, I'll get something like 38K EQM, getting me to 1K for the first time.

If I was sure it would earn 2x EQMs, then I'd probably credit to CO, but that's me wanting to ensure status.

BD. It never seems to be a problem requalifying for CO status.
