Yes, unfortunately.

In any event, all participants must be present in order to be assigned a tour time.

Miami

I'm trying to figure out if the 2nd car qualifies as a 'clunker'. There are three options for the model/year, one of which qualifies. Anyone know how to tell if a car has 'CLKUP'?

See if the Hilton in Burnaby, BC has availibilty. It's right by a Skytrain stop and it's about a 10 - 15 minute ride into the Olympic area.

Bzzzt :(

I basically did the same in ATL in 1996 (though slept on my cousin's counch, not in a hotel). We had a blast. The energy around the olympics is really amazing. I bought tickets on the street for the couple events I attended (swimming day one finals and judo) and paid way less than face in both cases.

That's the type of experience I'm looking for - I'll be too old by London in 2012 .

I personally want to do both for the same reason.

The program may be done as it used up the money already. They may extend it though.

And how is that too old to be an excuse not to go?

Although it's a horribly constructed government program (shocker), the House has already authorized tripling the total funding ($2 billion more).

In my worldview, the short side of 40 will have me procuring Opening Ceremony tickets.

Is there a website out there that searches the cheapest airfare out of a particular city?

I need to get away this weekend, but don't want to spend a gazillion dollars on tickets. Most of the cities I searched were in the 500-800 range...

Quite a few in fact: try lastminute.com or kayak.com. at kayak, check deals &/or do a quick seach for weekend fares from home airport.

Not to worry, that's why congress wrote a $2 billion check today to extend the program.
