Try having the same FA in F on your outbound from the home airport three trips in a row.

When I used to work in Tyler, I would always get the same two or three flight attendants on Colgan all the time. Then I stopped working there, and last summer, flew to DRT. I got on the plane and there was one of those flight attendants. She immediately knew who I was and asked me why I never flew with her to Tyler anymore.

Haven't seen her since, but then, I rarely fly Colgan these days.

Marion Barry, how are you!?

My moment of  was when I realized the US employees at LGA knew me by name. That and the PANYNJ wouldn't let me use my E-Z Pass to pay for parking because I would be in the lot for 24 hours, leave for 8, return and repeat for weeks on end.

The flagged my plate for fraud.

Maybe I should just focus on getting closer to FT Evangelist today, since work is so .

What's your favorite?

We're considering the Caribbean as a possible destination over Thanksgiving this year.

Barbados. Great beaches, great hotels, and the Mount Gay Rum Distillery tour is ^. You can purchase rum there in 1 Gallon Jugs.

IMO Hampton Inns and HGI's are the best in the Hilton brand as far as the treatment of Diamond members and going out of their way to put you in the best room they have even if its not really that much better. I have had terrible stays at most Hiltons and a couple of DT's (but love the DT-Times Square) and am not sure why I keep going back but I seem to always give them the benefit of the doubt....I usually end up getting screwed though. If Starwoods wernt so expensive compared to the Hilton alternative I would status match and stay there but *woods arnt everywhere I go so I would lose the Plat and Diamond status after a year.

Really? 99% of the Hamptons and HGIs I stay in don't have a "best room." They have a bunch of rooms that are all identical.

I do pretty well with upgrades at full service Hilton and DoubleTree properties, although usually I have my MyWay preference set to the points, not the upgrade/breakfast. If I'm traveling for work, by myself, the upgrade to a larger room/suite usually isn't all that enjoyable, and the points come in handy for vacations. And I can always expense breakfast to work. However, about 80% of the time I get the points, and they still bump me to the executive floor and a nicer room, so it's the best of both worlds.

At Hamptons, the 250 points are worth more to me than a bottle of water and package of cookies. And at HGIs, it's rare I don't get the breakfast coupons even when I'm set to get the 750 points as my amenity.

Last time I was at CLE, Terminal C was looking like ERJ central as well — especially down in the rotunda area.

+1 though I don't have high expectations since majority of the time I'm just there for one or two days so upgrade to a suite is not really a big deal to me. Just give me a quick checkin and a quiet and clean room and I'm happy. Lounge access where available is more important than an upgrade.

One of my best friends in Houston has a wife whose family is from Barbados. They rave about the place, and he's talked about the Mount Gay Rum tour before.

I just sent the two people I had in here with me back to their office. We can't do anything because the other people we need to be productive aren't here. First they told me one of those ladies was coming, then they told me that she wasn't. I have no idea why I'm here now, since obviously, this client really doesn't seem to be interested in working on this project this week.

You should have posted one of the pictures of the nasty hybrid US/CO Beech 1900s. You know, the ones that are black, with the US titles/flag scraped off and "Continental Connection" painted in the CO font on the side? Those are real classy.

One of the things I love about the Beech is how crappy the interior of those things is. It doesn't matter what it looks like on the outside. The interior of every one of them is almost identical, and equally crappy.

When I was working in Houston and the wife was in LBB I had the same flight attendant every time I flew the LBB-IAH on Monday mornings at 5am. She made flying in the CRJ a little better. She even came over to the wifes house one Sunday afternoon when we were having a BBQ.

Last I heard from her she quit and was going back to school.

I've become an expert at finagling my way into full service properties at Hampton Inn rates where I can. And since I'm not working in Redneckistan quite as much these days as I used to be, I've not set foot in a Hampton Inn in many months now. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, as the newer Hamptons are quite nice. In fact, I'll be spending lots of time over the next two weeks getting to know the Hampton in Clovis, NM. But when I'm working in Baton Rouge or Los Angeles I opt for the nicer stuff, since I can.

Good for her. Working a Chautauqua CRJ every day must be rather painful. And the pay is awful.
