They do play music but I don't get that close to the area to be able to hear it.

The Bay Area permits celebrations involving pride in being an American and patriotism?

Morning, Box.

Anyone flying through IAH today? I saw someone walking to the E baggage claim but I didn't get a change to say hello.

Woke up to shouting on the street in front of my house. Looked out the window and saw a white guy laying in the middle of the street bloodied. 2 black guys running away. One of my neighbors called 911. Come to find out, it was a drug deal gone bad. I'm ready to move away from here.

I'll be drinking a Molson, vintage 09 in 2hrs. and 45 min.

I miss my neighborhood bar in northern NY, where Molson was considered a domestic.

Getting back into road warrior mode after a few weeks of office time...

I looked at the forecast for Alpine, TX, about a week ago. Low temps were regularly showing upper-50s. That sounds doable. ^

There's an upside to no longer working for the news...you're now allowed to mention race when reporting crime.

Morning, Box.

I live across the Bay from Berkeley (thank god) and south of The City. My town proudly flies the American Flag for holidays.

CM, even us bleedin'-heart libruls are down with being American. No political affiliation or geographic region has a lock on being "real Americans." Well, there is one small exception... Louisiana is its own Banana Republic.

My A340 has been towed to the gate. Hope it's one of the ones that still has the old LA F, as I've got 01A as a seat-assignment. :D

Don't forget, you were probably his first call at 9AM or earlier on a Sunday morning after a holiday. Allowances must be made for such situations.

No no, it was fine. Clearly things were just moving slower today. There seems to be an EK style rule on Alaska where CO has to check each individual seat.

If the rank-and-file average liberal is cool with being overtly pro-American, then someone should inform the representation...it would seem that those being elected are of a much harder line than that of which you speak.
