After CO transitions to Star, which carrier would you pick for a J redemption to JNB/CPT? LH, SA, VS or EK?

SA has a superior J cabin to all of the above, with the possible exception of VS. Seats go 180 Horizontal-Flat...

EK seat is good, but not quite as nice. Only downside to SA is that the food is only good... not stellar.

I'm just thinking I'd like to try to catch a ride on the EK A380 (I think YYZ will be getting them sooner than later) - plus J on those birds look to be pretty nice.

I had to work until now so I have not had a drink yet

I've been getting sloshed all day at Viña Undurraga. I was only one of 3 people on the English-language tour. We essentially had the run of the entire vineyard for close to two hours. Their Sibaris Carmenère is absolutely stellar. ^

I'm still surprised you didn't try to do a xxx-HNL-NRT routing for the line. :)

I am filing a formal complaint with L'Academie Aerogeek Francaise. Such a glaring oversight was simply unconscionable.

Meanwhile, it's another miserable low-60s and rain here in Minneapolis. Just like it's been every day for the past week it seems.

Today was nearly San Diego perfect on the Jersey Shore. It wasn't hot, it was perfectly comfortable.
77 and no noticeable humidity.

The good Carmeneres are the showpieces of Chilean wine. Nothing produced there can match them.

I'm having a very relaxing 4th. Both kids are out with friends, husband is supervising his company's BBQ and all I have to do to see our city's fireworks show is walk down to the end of the street and turn left and walk a few more blocks.

The weather is beautiful. Clear skies, breezy and comfortable.

When was Las Colinas not somewhat empty, especially on the weekend or a holiday? It's never been anything but a Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00 kind of place. And unfortunately, it's still not really convenient to anything in the DFW area, other than the offices that are there.

That said, the aLoft there is a cool property, and a great place for a cheap weekend stay in the Metroplex.

I have embraced my inner-Texan today. We acquired a new gas grill. It was a major PITA dealing with some  employees at Home Depot who were not in a very helpful mood, but we got it done.

Tonight's dinner — grilled pork chops with a homemade fresh blackberry sauce, white corn on the cob grilled in the husk, and a nice salad. The partner is making homemade strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Being able to grill meat for dinner without smoking up the house or heating the place up is wonderful! Now we just need to acquire some furniture to go with the grill on our little patio, and we'll be set to have people over.
