Need Advice

The finacee had an interview at a private pre-school when she was in NYC 2 weeks ago. She just got an emial from the director of the school which she got along with very well asking her if when she will be in NYC next to come in for another observation. We had planed on her not coming back until the 21'st (after the wedding) but I am concerned that she may miss out on the job because of her not being here now. The bad thing is we have no idea how much it will pay and what the benefits are. I'd prefer that she work in the public school because I hear the benefits and pay is better but she needs to have a job and there is a hiring freeze for NYC public schools.

Do you think its worth the risk of telling the director she will not be here until the 22nd or should I pay $500 to fly her up for another observation next week?

When I was in her situation looking for a job my parents offered to pay for everything but her father is a  and even though he has plenty of money he has already "written her off his payroll" so he claims but thats another story...

CLE-SLC
SLC-NRT (great availability here for those looking)

NRT-ICN
ICN-DPS

DPS-ICN
ICN-ORD
ORD-CLE

And it still annoys me that you cannot combine CO flights with anything else as it would have made life much easier....

My itinerary on the return is currently DPS-ICN-NRT-JFK though I am looking at other options as well....

Are you on the DL flight from ICN-JFK?

Seems to me that you all should find out the answers to those two questions before deciding when to go back for another observation.

I would think they might read, "FUUGM."

I can guarantee you that my fiancee is the one person who would feel the sting. This is the same woman who looked off the balcony while still tied to the pier at FLL and said with a  tone in her voice, "The ship's moving." (Well, yes, that is its job after all.) Love her though I do, I have come to find out that she is the outlier on nearly everything...if a drug is said to have five side effects, and the odds of all five happening are eleventy billion to one, she will be that one.

Aaah! bless her little cotton socks!! That just means you have to take extra good care of her.

I believe DL flies ICN-ATL 3 days a week. KE is the only ST carrier that flies between ICN and JFK.

I normally would be all for her asking about the benefits and pay but this will be her first job out of school and in this economy it seems you gotta take what you can get since she cant rely on unemployment. Is there an easy way to ask about these things with out offending the director?

They don't codeshare the KE flight from ATL? I defer to sdm1130, he who knows way too much about KE.

Bite the bullet and fly her up. The ticket price lost could be gained in a job, as opposed to her not being considered further because of possibly miffing the director.

DL codeshares the daily KE flight from ATL in addition to operating their own 772 3x weekly.
