It must be bad, as they are VDBing to US. What route is oversold, PHL-EWR?

Morning, Box. I'm off to SAT this afternoon. Haven't received EUA upgrade, am #2 on list. Hope I get battlefield upgrade.

Good luck and safe travels! Since your fingers, toes, legs, eyes, and everything else being crossed likely helped with Ms. GadFly's companion upgrade, I'll do you the same courtesy.

I think I need to copyright that phrase and the you'd all have to pay me royalties every time you used it .......;):D It is one of my all time fave phrases!!

I'd owe you a lot of money if I decide to name one of my kids "Bonkers" and the other "Wobbly". Every time I talked to them, I'd have to write you a check!

GA confirms flight is overbooked by 5. :D

alt routing would be R1 to ZFV-EWR-SAN.

Would that ZFV-EWR be you buying an Amtrak ticket or a CO Codeshare ZFV routing? In my experience, when that routing is booked, it needs to be about a week in advance to show up in the Amtrak system. When it's shorter than that, I almost always have trouble picking up my ticket.

If anyone in AMv2 is interested in an MD-87 it will be offered for sale within 24 hours at cost, instant delivery.

Keep an eye on the aircraft market. It is a nice plane, but I like more seats and have standardized on larger planes. But at 139 seats and 2769nm range, it is nothing to laugh at.

And you'd have to sleep with one eye open to guard against the time they try to smother you with a pillow.:p:D

Random (and useless :)) question of the day...

Is it rude to scan your own boarding pass when boarding? I feel weird handing it to the GA to scan when I could easily pass it below the scanner myself. Thoughts?

It doesn't bother me. In fact I often let the little kids do it just because they get such a kick out of doing something themselves.

I think everyone should play grocery cashier atleast once in their lifetime. Scan that puppy yourself and join the ranks of becoming a Boarding B*tch. :D

I had predicted that I would be awaken at 5am for the AC service guy calling about the PITA condo in FL. I was delighted that I didn't get a call until 8am since I didn't get to bed until 4am this morning. Gotta love it when SFO closes one out of two runways down causing flights to be delayed 30-45 minutes in arriving last night.

It only cost me $71.63 to fix the AC. A fuse was blown. Needless to say I am delighted that this cost was so low. I have now taken out a yearly maintenance contract. That is only costing me $208.
