Edit: Never mind, I just saw the turn time.

It depends on the routes IMO.

I was thinking to sell my mistake purchase Tu154M but i like its sheer speed and turn times, it is hauling a nice profit :D
It is a big costly(unlike in real world) to get it initially, but it has paid back well.

Ugh - that would annoy me as well. I'm not a fan of strangers handling my electronics...

I was sitting upfront on CO IAH-MCO when a random stranger boarding asked to borrow my cell phone. Something had happened to his and he needed to make a call (we may have been delayed, don't remember) and being the generous person I am, I said sure. 15 minutes later, my phone was not returned and not sure if he was making overseas calls, I went back to coach to retrieve my phone. He told me just a minute he was almost done. Then I had some pax hand me their bp and ask where their seat was (yes, I told them; no, I didn't tell them I wasn't an employee). Received my phone back with profuse thanks, checked to ensure no int'l calls were made, and clorox wiped the phone down.

I was delighted that I didn't get a call until 8am since I didn't get to bed until 4am this morning. Gotta love it when SFO closes one out of two runways down causing flights to be delayed 30-45 minutes in arriving last night.

It only cost me $71.63 to fix the AC. A fuse was blown. Needless to say I am delighted that this cost was so low. I have now taken out a yearly maintenance contract. That is only costing me $208.

A service call would cost more here. Glad it worked out so well!!!! A yearly maintenance contract is definitely the way to go!

You're too nice. After 15 minutes, I would probably be at the "You're done - there's no almost done. Another individual - namely the phone's owner - would like to use the phone before the cabin door closes".

Cool! Thank goodness it was an easy fix!! I was worried for you!

The lower seat count also does a great job of driving demand. I dumped my 763ER's for 762ER's and the profit change in the routes have ranged from an 8K EUR loss to a 20K bump. It does depend a lot, but generally the 762ER is the better buy, and I would argue that it is the longhaul sweet spot in the game. It can handle almost anything range and time-wise, and the only place to go from there is a 744.

The five-minute mark is when I start very conspicuously looking at my watch....hint, hint.

That's still too nice. I wouldn't have even let the guy use my phone.

There's something oddly disturbing about Tom Jones singing "I'm a man, I'm alive."

99% of the time, I would say yes but wouldn't let the person take my phone to another cabin of service. The other 1% of the time, things aren't going well with my day and I'm busy evicting someone from my F seat with a single word.

Fixed it for you.

As much as I disliked my first experience with Twitter, I think I'm going to open a page for the job. I'm working in webpage video, so it's sadly more likely to be an expectation more than anything.

Good point. I would consider letting them use my phone as long as they stayed near me. Otherwise, there are probably 100+ other passengers the person could ask.

I know, I'm a jerk. :D

Mike Gundy's "I'm a man! I'm 40" is much more entertaining (even though it's not in song).

Yeah, I've been eying the Tu-144S and wanting to get one just to see what the profits are with using something like that especially in Europe :D.

IMO witha sport coat you could easily pass as LEO looking :D

you'd give up the guise a little bit drinking 4 woodford on a 500 mile flight however.
