I figured that was a motivating factor.

Funny, when I was batting around doing Croatia this summer, OK was the best option. I ended up axing it because of the a310 and their tremendous unreliability due to their age. They are so old their flight manuals are written in cuneiform.

If I'm going to drop that many miles on a flight I want to enjoy it. I was having visions of flying US PHL - ATH in  class.

Since I was traveling beyond PRG (although I was probably going to build a couple day stop there) I was worried a fouled-up flight would sufficiently torpedo the trip.

J cabin on the OK A310s was refurbed just a few months ago. Essentially the same pitch, but wider, cushier recliners. Perfectly acceptable for a day-flight PRG-JFK. I don't generally sleep on Europe-US routings, so flat seats don't really matter. I actually prefer recliner-style seats on day flights, as I generally find them more comfortable in the seated-reclined position than angled-flat or 180-flat seats.

Duluth, Minnesota - nice! :) My GV area code comes from Akron, Ohio.

I wish iPrint would allow you to use letters in the phone number on the free business cards...

You have a 330 number?

DL91 was operated with a 772ER today. They better not do a last minute swap on our 77L...

I think that it already is operated once or twice a week with a 772 instead of the 77L.

Yup, 330. It was the only option available with the letters and numbers I wanted.

Yes, I believe it is scheduled this way on certain days. I did not go back to look at the schedule to see if this was planned or a swap.

Willing to do it to keep the A310.

Have you never flown an A310? Perhaps a trip to China or some other locale would offer a better opportunity to fly one if you haven't already.

No A310 to date... and I'm dead-set on getting to PRG for Labor-Day weekend to enjoy some Staropramen with amigos. For those looking for A310s TATL after OK drops its long-hauls, there is always SATA International BOS/YYZ-PDL (Punta Delgada, Azores)

They actually have reasonable biz-class prices in the winter, but weird scheduling at that time of year (flights on Tuesdays and Fridays only  ).

I'm pretty sure the F/O you mentioned was not the one he brought to DEN -- his name was Brian. But I don't think I could 'ensure' that he bring your fav F/O!:D

I could send a photo if that helps ;)

No, but that reminds me, I'll be doing the PC tour the next few weeks if any Boxers are around (I always seem to miss the IAH crowd by a couple hours).

The schedule is:

8/13[/B]
IAH PC (not sure) 1145a - 1p

I'll be in B that day but leave around 10ish. I'll be early to walk nervous nelly from her gate to the P Club.

Don't need access, have a card. C74 = near Dunkin'. winner winner. @:-)

WWBD, I've been invited to AC for a Bachelor party on 8/14. Do I go?

Here's the complicating factor(s):
I return from the west coast late on 8/13. I leave for OGG early am on 8/15. If I do the BP I will come directly from AC to EWR, probably still be drunk and having not slept. I'm not sure if the Canuck is going to want to put up with flying with me for the next 20 hours after a night of unmitigated disaster.

This also presents a logistical challenge with cars.

So, WWBD?

I'd do it; you'll sleep well on the flight (I'll assume that doesn't bother her) and if you have a good strong, long shower, should be good unless it's leaking out your pores.

The Castle is on. Great movie and wish I would have realized it was on five minutes prior to DVR. Anthony Bourdain No Reservations is in Seoul.

I took a random number just to get the 609 area code. Figured that having a "local" number wouldn't hurt, and it might be one step towards dumping my landline. I'll probably wait a little while on that just to see if GV really is the be-all and end-all, but it looks exciting. :)

Now, as for my 617 cell number, you'll have to pry that from my cold, dead fingers. :D
