My crystal ball says, "No. This flight booking levels were set for another type of aircraft. CO is holding out seats to avoid overbookings. This flight is underbooked if it's a 737-800. Sorry."

Is JFK-FRA going to go 772 or 77W? Any reasoned speculation out there?

Most likely 77W, SQ is retrofitting their 773s with new F and a sort of super regional C, which may free up 77Ws for the route. The next route to lose the 744 is speculated to be the SIN-NRT-LAX route.

Today yes somehow, but I am actually flying SQ F, which the VS CH is the contract lounge for.
Too bad VS is not in *A. We would be all over that. :D |

Going out to the local filthy Wal-Mart now in North Jersey. When I visit my friend in LAS and go to Wal-Mart I am shocked by how clean they are. The few that we have in this are are total dumps. :td:

And so every city pair that loses the 744 loses with it the availability to redeem at a lower level? Classy.

You can certainly do IAH-DME; FRA-JFK for a reasonable price, both on SQ. You'd have to find your way between various points to make it work, but it's what I'm considering doing...
I'm thinking C or F. :D |

They have opened up saver on some new cabins, so there is a glimmer of hope.

Doesn't "reasonable price" require flying in the back?

The one near me in Edison is fairly new - about 8 months old. It's not dirty. It's actually quite clean and well organized. It's just the people .... I'm sorry, but they all look like they just came down from the mountains out of their trailer parks. Sorry....sorry... I know that's so not PC, but I can't help it. They have straggly hair, no teeth, rumpled clothes, screaming, snotty kids .... i could go on, but I risk being booted off to OMNI!!! |
