I was hoping to plan 2010 myself, but now it looks like Ms. Enmascarado Jr. will be arriving sometime around March 2010, which threw a wrench on my existing plans for the rest of this year too!

Congratulations. No wonder you haven't been around.

My work BlackBerry, which I didn't have much choice in the selection of, is an 8830. It's OK, but old, old, old.

Can you say 8700g?

Anyway - home warranty company sent someone to clear my sewer line. This individual then managed to break the industrial-sized snake in my sewer lateral. Long story short - my lawn has to be dug up to remove the cable / hook from the line. Fortunately, any repairs needed to the pipe could then be made.

No more available weekends for travel. I'd like to focus on Asia in 2010, but it's not especially easy to do a weekend run there, as with Europe or S. America.

Nor do there seem to be many weekender friendly fares, then again there have been some nuggets as of late.

Sounds like someone else is in the  club with me today...

Mine hits UA 1K on Thursday and I'm sure there will be much preening, errr, rejoicing. :p

You're telling me. I'm currently trying to find CLE-SNA tickets for the parents for late October and it's a whole barrel of  - $350 to $380 out of CAK. I need to ask them if they're willing to do LAX to save $100 each ($240 on DL or AirTran is not the end of the world...)

I'm done 2009 scheduling except one RT to D.C. and a OW from BOS (or vicinity) to BNA.

Me too, as of noon today - I booked my last-for-a-while DL flights to/from ATL for a wedding the weekend before ST/*A switchover, and that takes care of this year (and all my free time). Next project is a CLE-DFW-EWR multi-city for the first weekend in January 2010 (another wedding) and I'm trying to figure out if I can make that happen for less than $380. Sigh. :(

P.S. Congrats colpuck!!! ^

Try playing around with one ways to/from SNA, or perhaps ERI/PIT.

or maybe a multisegment CLE-IAH-SNA-IAH-CLE-ERI/PIT/CMH

or, like my last trip, find flights to LAS and take US or WN to SNA.

IMO, one line does not a performance of that size make, sir. I will concede the point that it's a great line, but what Sam Neill brought to his character runs circles around what Thompson brought to his.

I just got my BluRay of Dead Calm yesterday, another great Sam Neill performance.

Has anyone called dibs on that for 2010? Only thing that stopped me this year was paying for a flight.
