CO 1E - thanks for the excellent service report! ^

Do you recall which Bordeaux KE served? It's a shame that KE doesn't offer a sundae - what were their dessert options? Also, I've read that the Korean meal options should always be selected over the Western options - do you agree?

We're doing KE C on the outbound (and intra-Asia Asia) and NW J on the return so I will get to sample both products for the first time.

I don't recall the Bordeaux offhand, but I will check my menus at home. IIRC, dessert was a choice of fruit and/or a single-serving cup of Haagen Daas ice cream. I would definitely select the Korean meal options, but the problem is that they only have a handful of them - bibimbap, bulgogi, and possibly one other one, and only one is offered per flight. If you rigidly stick to the Korean meal, you can end up eating the same meal on each flight. But the Western food I have had on KE has ranged from mediocre (steak on intra-Asia J) to horrible (pre-arrival roast beef sandwhich on ICN-KUL).

Well, I have a Chase Platinum MC that starts with four numbers, and have had it for about five years, and it has always been a Chase card. It is some sort of preferred platinum with a few added benefits, but otherwise is a typical platinum MC.

Err, maybe I was confused with the original premise, then. My comment related to the account number starting with the numeral five, and not that the first sequence of digits was five characters long.

I think the poop quota for the week has been met, and it's only Tuesday! :o

I do not think a store can charge more for using a credit card per their merchant agreement.

Specs (liquor, for you non Houstonians) charges more for credit purchases. Everything in their store has 2 prices: Cash or Card. And the employees get annoyed when I take them rolls of coins for my purchases. I did the same to Costco and Costco liquor when my Amex was maxed out on coin purchases. At Costco, it wasn't the employee, but the guy behind me in line that was rather ticked when I pulled out 12 rolls that had to be hand-counted :D

Oh, I see; that was my (retarded) mistake. I read sbm12's post as meaning that the MC started with a group of five digits, not the number five. My MC does, indeed, start with the number five.

One of the reasons to limit one's fat intake (and I'll be well below my fat allowance for the day). It's also not intended to take forever or if one's BMI is below 27 (overweight but not much). I'm "overweight" and closer to the "obese" range in the government's weight classifications than "normal weight" range.

I feel better, then. I was afraid Claudio might have been up to some shenanigans.

Not really. Certain Boxers got really drunk in CRP; that's about it.

Most absurd quote in today's newspaper belongs to:

Narcy Novack claimed the break-in was part of an elaborate sex game she played with her husband, and showed police an array of lewd photographs that included her husband's fetish: amputee porn. But she also filed a domestic violence claim against her husband, claiming he had hit her. She claimed he once broke her nose and when he sent her to a plastic surgeon she woke up there with breast implants she had not requested.
