Going to HNL for Thanksgiving. Plus1 is picking up his daughter and since BL JR is out a day earlier I thought a better routing for us would be IAH-NRT-GUM-HNL-LAX-IAH. She agreed.

I should also mention that after discuss by some in the BoX I decided to do some computer file cleaning. Well at least consolidate the files. Today I consolidated all my old 3.5 disk to a zip drive with room to spare and got rid of the old disk. Funny part is I didnt have a 3.5 drive but when I got my new computer (new to me) at work it had one so I used it to consolidate the miles. A few weeks ago I consolidated all my old Zip drives to my desktop. That took a little longer and yeilded a ton more files to go through. I may just need to take all this stuff with me on the StarMegaDO to keep me busy on all my flights :)

I hope to be buzzed nicely in the lounge to the point that I fall asleep right after takeoff. If there's a small service, that works too. Whoever is next to me, please wake me for breakfast.

And since it's JFK-FRA, I'm not checking a bag. I'm sure belynch will remind me of same tonight.

You still had 3.5" disks and Zip disks? :eek: Just curious, but why put files on a Zip drive when that's technology that's almost as outdated at this point as a 3.5" disk?

I'm not sure when the last time I saw a Zip disk was. Maybe 2001? Wow.

In this consolidating and cleaning up of files I also found my BP for my EFD-IAH flight back in 2004!! :(

LOL. These were disk I have had since 2004 when I moved here and upon my last move I started to get my act together and clean up and get rid of the junk I dont need. When I was at UNLV in the early part of this decade both of these were used plentifully and just never cleaned it all up!

There are plenty of zip disks in teh bag office. Not that I use them, but I have them.

I came across some 3.5 disks with pictures on them, but now I can’t seem to find the floppy drive for my old Dell Inspiron 8200. :rolleyes:

Where is a good Christmas travel destination that doesn't actually celebrate Christmas? Wife finally got confirmation that she gets that week off so we need somewhere to go. I'm still looking at N. Africa though the redemption costs scare me a bit. Only ~5 days so we can't stray too far.
