BF to NRT and HNL :)

The GUM P Club is not all that great, but it's fine.

She asked me "We do get to get off the airplanes, right?"

:D

I'm calling this a Geography lesson.

There are plenty of zip disks in teh bag office. Not that I use them, but I have them.

Zip disks are one technology I never really adopted, but I did have a Clik! disk. It is still at home in my office, but it hasn't seen any use since maybe 2003 or 2004. I'm curious whether there's anything still on it.

Why not do the island hopper on the return flight, instead of via LAX? Or does time not allow?

Where is a good Christmas travel destination that doesn't actually celebrate Christmas? Wife finally got confirmation that she gets that week off so we need somewhere to go. I'm still looking at N. Africa though the redemption costs scare me a bit. Only ~5 days so we can't stray too far.

Thoughts?

N. Africa is likely to be full of Brits celebating Christmas during that time. You could go to China for real Chinese?

I recently sold the floppy drive for a Dell laptop I had on eBay. It came with the laptop the company gave me when I started this job in 2005, and I was given a new laptop in 2008. I forgot to return the floppy last year, and still had it. I finally sold it on eBay for about $10 a few months ago.

My old desktop computer at home still has a floppy drive, but I'm hoping to get that listed on Craigslist in the very near future and clear out that junk that's gathering dust in my office. Once it's gone, we won't have a functional 3.5" floppy drive in the house. I do have a few 3.5" floppies in the cabinet, which will go with the computer as a bonus.

I'm always amazed at how some of my clients can forget everything they've learned. I'll teach them something, we'll run the process multiple times to test it, and I leave, and come back a month or two later, and they've forgotten they ever saw it before.

Other clients, no issues. Show it once, got it, great, let's move on and learn something new.

I've decided that there are some institutions I work with where the average IQ of the employees is considerably higher than other institutions. And then I have the ones that are just a c*********k and a total mess.

This has been one of those broken record days where I feel like I'm just saying the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

I wouldn’t worry about it unless your clock radio starts playing I Got You Babe tomorrow morning. :D

Not so frequent flyer spew: I think I'm treating myself to a UA F award next year to SFO and though I'm not crazy about the idea of having a 6AM flight on the return, the fact that it's a 763 is making me apoplectic. My life is full of 737's, 319's and RJ's so this is a HUGE plane to me.:D

OK, I'm done. Carry on.:o

I got a present in the mail from another FTer for the Lexington / Keeneland / Woodford Reserve Do. A photo will be forthcoming after the weekend.

I broke the 202 pound barrier tonight after racquetball (last night was breaking the 203 barrier). I expect to break 200 before the Hockey Do in December.

Dinner is soup (done), ribeye with cracked pepper, spinach, and Heineken Light from the draughtkeg rebate.

The UA 763 in domestic F is nothing to write home about. If there's space, and if you want to do UA F, aim for a 777 but I'd strongly suggest you avoid the 763.
