Hit it again and what happens?

On my Dell laptop, Fn-F8 once switches to displaying projector only. Fn-F8 a second time switches to displaying on both the projector and my computer. Fn-F8 a third time returns to my monitor only and the projector goes black.

SPG Gold did get me upgraded a number of times when I had that status.

Mine has normal, fn-f4 to move to dual with same display, fn-f4 for dual different displays, fn-f4 for projector only blank on laptop, then again to back to normal.

so the key is multiple times to cycle to the proper.

I wish I could do the reverse. I have OP miles coming out of my ears but I'm mediocre in all hotel programs.

More than likely this isn't a Vista issue — it's your hardware, or the driver for that hardware.

Toshiba Satellite. Don't know. I'm in Windows Help right now, and predictably getting nowhere. Good thing I kept the instruction manual.

Just keep in mind that you'll only get 1/2 a OP mile per SPG point transferred.

I was upgraded as a Gold a few weeks ago at the LM in Sunny Isles, FL so, you're right, they do happen. It is, however, best not to expect Gold upgrades as they are extremely rare.

It's usually a keyboard thing. You need to press the blue Fn shift key near the bottom left of the keyboard and one of the Fn keys' (usually F5 or F7) at the same that may have words such as LCD on it. It will cycle through Laptop, Laptop+Projector, and Projector only.
