It should default back to the laptop screen when the projector is disconnected which is strange. I'm trying to remember what brand of computer doesn't place nice with projectors. I think it's HP.

True. But I don't travel enough to keep up two programs. I could keep two accounts open, but I'd never get anywhere with either. And demographics is a very interesting point. I'm fairly sure that I'm not a W person, and I've not set foot in one. Everything I have read turns me off about the position of the brand.

Speaking of *Wood, one of my favorite mini mileage run, weekend getaways (which I know this an "FT" type getaway only :D) is to go to AMS and then stay at the Sheraton connected to the airport. Leave Friday, get there on Saturday, dump my stuff off at the Sheraton, take the train into Central Station, hang out for the day, hop the train back to the airport, go to bed get a good bit of rest given you're right at the airport and head home on Sunday!

More weird Star Do twists: the GM of the hotel Randy put me at on the night of 11/2 is a guy I worked with at Borgata.

Sounds like an upgrade potentially. I had a student once get me a rate at a local hotel. I checked in and got a call about 15 minutes after checkin to let me know that I had been upgraded. GOt a nice corner suite in the hotel.!!

Most of that came from Friday when I stocked the bag up at ORD, since I was out of snacks.

Glad to hear I am not the only one with snacks. I atleast limit my takes from the lounge to snacks, mags, and papers. No discount china for me!

I bought a business card holder for this exact reason. Holds all my cards in one place and can go from my car to the travel bag easily. This includes my computer. office supply, video cards as well.

This is your Friday flight? I got all mine going (TUL-IAH) came through this morning with only 4 seats booked (I noticed the same thing a few weeks ago with my OKC-IAH flights, 4 days must be the breaking point to start upgrades). I haven't heard about my LGA-IAH flight on Sunday afternoon but assume that Xyzzy got the lost of the up front seats due to M,Y,B upgrade!!
I have a feeling I will get my IAH-TUL return upgrade this afternoon/evening.

I did apply at a somewhat well-known hospitality consulting/process improvement firm. Never heard anything back; likely due to low experience in their eyes.
