Nice shots Mike.
Going to Arlington always gives me goose bumps. It's such a place of honor. There is also a Veteran's grave yard at the VA Hospital in Johnson City, TN and I was surprised at how many Metal of Honor men were buried there. |
The refurbed NZ 763 C cabin looks yummeh.
BD are so stoopid... http://gc.kls2.com/cgi-bin/gcmap?PATH=LAX-NRT-AKL-PER 60,000mi? AYFKM?! |

It's a one-way miles-only Z3-Z9 (assuming Z9 is Australia) redemption in C, with LAX-NRT allowed in F (at C redemption rates), because it is 19 miles shorter than NRT-AKL. :D

She should be happy that the sky is blue and temps are on the cool side. It's a beautiful day here and will be all week. |
MBM3, noticing your "just because" editing of an original post, you might want to do a similar edit of that content quoted in #102843...

Whoa. What kind of weird rule is that? I need to find a way to exploit it.
Assume two flights on the itinerary... One is 6,000 mi., flown in F The other is 6,001 mi., flown in C You would only be billed at the C redemption rate... cuz that's how BD rolls. :D |

I just mis-clicked and added a typo to my dictionary, but I did it while trying to post. Would that bad entry be found in the Word custom dictionary, or am I screwed on this one word that I goofed on?

I think I'm going to try for NYC-FRA/MUC-CAI and then CAI-IST-JFK for my reward. There is F inventory on the IST-JFK segment on the 77W. I'd still need to get from CAI to SSH and back but those are only ~$170 each to just buy the tickets. Maybe. How do I actually book a BD reward? I've not yet had that pleasure. |
