Oh, and not so much with getting the earlier flight home.

First CLE and now STL? What a crazy day. http://www.rolleye.com/cheers.gif

Yep. It was US. It's good to see more mainline into CLT. Now that I've experienced US F on several occasions and found it to be endurable, I'd actually consider IAH-CLT-HNL and IAH-CLT-GIG as redemption opportunities. The new angled-flat 767 hard product looks just fine, to me.

Funny you should mention that, but I got forced onto US just last year for a last minute trip to PHL, and could not risk connecting. Anyway, that was one of the very first flights of those new 767s and was lucky enough to get the upgrade for $50 or $75 deals which I took. The seats were quite nice suprisingly. It was funny too because it was that particular crew's first time on them as well, so everyone was sort of trying them out!

It must be the xkcd cartoon that is doing it.

When I heard that I won the trip, I was hoping like crazy that the winning post of mine was the one that said "This post is to increase the odds of the winning post containing the word douche."

This is a probably a day for hyper vigilance. Oct. 19 carries the moniker "Black Monday," from the stock market meltdown 22 years ago. Evil doers seem to like significance to the days they target.

Indeed he did. And both Calvin Klein and John DeJoria (he of Paul Mitchell fame) were at one point homeless. Just goes to show what strange paths people walk to get where they go.

Why can't the laundry go any faster? The shirt that I need for trivia is in the dryer...

Yes... crazy, indeed! I was actually on the tarmac at CLE today... but that's only because I was banished to board at D17E :)

Hopefully this rash of craziness will subside soon. I felt like I needed a drink even though it was only 7:30 am. Sadly, due to the delays at TSA, I couldn't even stop at the PC for coffee.

I think someone mentioned LAX-PSP on UAX but I'm not sure...

Afternoon, Box. My DL experience this past weekend was definitely a missed bag - more on that in a bit.

Just wanted to mention that I just got off the phone with a very nice lady at the OnePass center, who said that she would be happy to comp me Platinum in advance of this weekend's EWR-DEN roundtrip! (I was 221 EQMs short.) ^

Speaking of economics, there's still time to register for my Managerial Economics class. Just put together the assignments for the semester:

* Supply and demand in corporate news
* Cost of capital and uncompensated risk (business, equity, debt, and the mortgage crisis)
* Present value (tie in to number two)
* Price discrimination practical applications
* New product diffusion process - launch, tipping points, saturation or organic decay
* Real options given limited resources
* Game theory or multi-national currency risk (students' choice)

As much as I like you, my boycott of Twitter continues unabated.
