Doesn't the TSA have a rule about spare laptop batteries needing to be placed inside of a bag? I seem to remember having to carry my spare battery in a ziploc in the days when I had one.

Officially you have to protect the contacts from shorting out in some way.

I'm in line at small claims court. I planned for one hour to file my claim. I may have underestimated. It is made worse by the fact that there are no blanks claims forms so I'm pretty sure I'll be stuck in line twice. I'm still looking forward to the entertainment that this will bring.

I'm starting to get the hang of working in the Baggage Service Department. The computer entries are starting to make sense.

This morning I awake to my son getting a relapse of his cold. He isn't going to school today. And my daughter thought it necessary to call at 4:30am to inform me that she would probably not make it onto her flight to IAH.

There isn't enough coffee to make me happy this morning after about 3 hours of sleep.

Tomorrow would have been a better day. Monday is the number one complaint day as people have the weekend to think things over and get all fired up over it.

Are you filing just for breach of contract, or are you adding deceptive trade practices claims? Often, DTPA claims involve statutory penalties (3x damages or more), as well as costs of court as part of an award.

Morning Box!

Another start -o- the work week. No travel this week, but a week without a plane is ok right (blasphemous, I know :p)?

CM looked at the blog. I like it!!!:-: Cannot wait to hear your adventures from the road!

Who woudda thunk?

A US airline based in Las Vegas, its fees for checked baggage ($15), boarding ($5), and seat assignment (up to $25) might make even Ryanair chief executive Michael O'Leary blush. If you would like even a drink of water on an Allegiant flight - an average journey is two-and-a-half hours - expect to pay.

A recent analysis of 92 airlines by IdeaWorks, an airline consultancy, shows that Ryanair's take from ancillary fees at 19.23 per cent of income is no longer the highest - 22.7 per cent of Allegiant's income now stems from ancillary sales. "Whether it's on-board or online, Allegiant rarely misses an opportunity to sell," says Jay Sorenson, president of IdeaWorks. "It's a well-defined business plan, consistently applied."[/QUOTE]

Yes, there will be details available explaining the reasons for the rating.

I'm also planning on having a Key to the list. I just figured the icons were more fun than the other options. Who doesn't want a roll of TP in their image?? :p

Color me a fool as I didn't get the icons at first. I couldn't even tell that was a roll of TP.

As for the seat icons, I have red-green colorblindness and the good/bad seats aren't nearly as clear as the competition. :-:

This was my favorite bit making fun of the TSA: http://jaredcaldwell.xanga.com/videos/0b7ea826150

While Dane Cook is usually very , he's ok in this one.

Enjoy!!
