In my home, it would be related to a rebate. In a bar? For me it would have to be the best available Happy Hour special.

Wow, that was quick. LH finished my itinerary already.

Pretty cool. And my upcoming travel schedule is very odd: DL-DL, NW-NW, WN, WN-WN, AA-AA, WN ...

I've undertaken said activity more than a few times.

can I book a hotel stay in my name, using my spg number, but have Mr.Brit check into the room without me being present?

I want to book a room in Vegas for him, but I won't be travelling with him. He will check in using the same credit card I book with, so I guess he could check in and say I was in the car or something, perhaps?

Maybe. Odds are it will work as long as you list him as an additional guest on the reservation. A call to the hotel to add a note in the record that he is arriving "before you" and that "you will be arriving a few hours later" wouldn't hurt either. Just make sure you never let on you're not actually going to be there. Book the room for two guests, and add his name as the other guest.

Thanks Professor Brituchenite for explaining the Myer Briggs Type Indicator.

How long does the real "test" take and how long does it take you to evaluate someone? And why would you have someone do this "test"?

I believe the real test was only about 15 mintues.

There's also the Stong Interest Inventory.

I did HOU-STL-HOU on TW once when I was a kid. My dad bought us upgrades to F at the gate. I remember being awestruck by all the classic 747s and other widebodies at STL. I hear these days it's RJ central.

The classic 747s and L-1011s were still quite common there well into the second half of the 1990s.

My one trip on TW was on the same route, on DC-9-30s. In Y.

So who's going to be at the Palm the weekend after this?

Apparently President Obama is in town. Plane should be visible from the F.M. 1960 portion adjacent to the airport (or whatever that side-road is that runs near teh cargo area). Dunno how long it will be here.

Yep, heard on the radio last night driving into Houston that he was due in town today.

I would have thought it would take longer. Interesting.

Why would anyone take this test? Does it show you something you didn't already know?
