The movie is based on a book of the same name, where they look at the effects of using Barney-the-Dinosaur theme music on Iraqi prisoners. |

Haha. Falcon Airways. Every flight is its own in-flight show.

OK, laptop battery sort of recharged enough to hold out for ORD-SFO flight. Time to blow this RCC and head for the other concourse and my 777.

Hey, why not. Maybe the third attempt at an all-Y airline within an airline is the charm.

Well they did put out that big RFP to Boeing and Airbus not too long ago. But given all of their schedule cuts, I'm not exactly sure where they would be deploying new equipment. The oldest stuff they've got flying right now are the 744s and some of the 763s (some of the 763s are actually very new), and the 757s. The international 763s got a huge interior overhaul in the F and C cabins, but not so much in Y — the premium cabins have all new wall and ceiling panels, and overheads, while in Y, it's the old stuff. That leads me to believe they're planning on keeping them for a bit. But there is the question of all those 757s, and they have reduced the mainline narrow body fleet considerably with the exit of the 737s. Who knows.

I did a little TED flying in my time with a run or two to LAS on UA. It was so funny to see some of the international pax who had been flying in first or business board TED, and the look of disgust they had when they realized that they would be in TED from IAD-LAS. TED fares: some reasonable and some not, the look on the aforementioned travelers' faces: priceless!:D

Anyone notice the Southwest free bags commercials, a UA RJ rolls by in the background with the tail blurred out.
