Installed my WD TV Live yesterday. Now all my ripped DVDs can be played via USB harddrive or direct from my networked PC. Me happy boy.

Is 11 hours in AMS time enough to head to the city and do some site seeing? I am looking at PRG flights with a long layover in AMS.

Good to be back...but I'm not sure how often I'll be able to make it on. Kitchen remodel is coming along and we're getting measured for tile installation next week. This is a royal pain to coordinate in between the travel but when it's all done, it'll be worth it!

Yeah....because if they just bought it during the sale starting now and going until 12/24, it would cost $160.

G'morning everyone.

Three different wines and port at dinner last night. :D

Off to the Aquarium on the rainy day here in BOS and then another large family dinner, this time with copious quantities of margarita. Life doesn't suck too much at all.

Have a blast in Beantown....it's a great city that I don't get to often enough.

IMHO, it is plenty of time. The train into Central Station should not be much more than an hour's ride. There you can walk around and take the city in! Should be a hoot!^

Speaking of file footage. One news broadcast was using some on Wednesday from the inside of an One World USA flight and a swear I saw Fozz sitting in one of seats.

More than enough time - the train to Amsterdam Centraal isn't too bad.

Schiphol to Amsterdam Centraal? Link puts the average ride at 17 minutes and the fastest possible ride at a mere 13 minutes. 11 hours is plenty of time if you can stay awake long enough.

My family apparently was able to navigate to the outskirts of my town. They are stopping into their hotel to relay that WN lost their luggage. On a non-stop flight. Just as WN has on my last two trips.

I was battling sleep on the way to Centraal when I took the train.

Some people don't seem to get a Hint I so want to use the Yes / No pie chart.

I did OK my first day; I didn't really crash until about 2PM local. I was doing, as Jeff Foxworthy once put it, "the open-mouth Jello-neck head bob" on a canal boat tour. The canal boat was frustrating to no end because the angles sucked for photography and there were about six different languages being spoken very loudly in complete defiance of the boat's sightseeing announcements, which were repeated in four or five languages themselves.

They must be taking lessons from US baggage crews at PHL

You're absolutely right CM. Was doing a total worst case scenario with folks getting on and off the train and the like. It is a quick ride from Schipol to Centraal.

I'll bet WN's response would be - what do you expect "Bags Fly for Free". :p
