That is a very good idea. I shall implement it on my next trip.

I think I'm going to burn points at the MLE Sheraton for three nights. It's a boat transfer hotel, so I shouldn't have any problem making that connection. Then transfer over to the Conrad and spend 5 days out there. :-:

The Conrad is a special place & 5 days is perfect. Enjoy the seaplane ride down there! Let me know if you want some input on the property, such as do not waste your money on dinner in the underwater restaurant. Do drinks during the day.

Ugh, need to make a trip to CVG and all I see are RJs unless I go with DL.

Question for the Box

If I book a flight on CO.Com with my onepass number, can I then change the onepass number to my BD number later, or do I have to book via the BD site to get the BD mileage credit?

I got tired of the weight and put all the info in a spreadsheet. :)

Ughhh! Depending where you are going, DAY may be a cheaper and more convenient option. CVG is in Kentucky south of downtown Cinci. DAY is about 45 minutes north and is conveniently located on a freeway.

Thanks! Don't know exactly where I need to go. Friend of mine I've known since kindergarten had a stroke so need to visit but no further info yet.

Ok, I developed contingency plans on the more than likely chance my 40 minute connection in DEN on Sunday goes awry:

Other Flight Options:

1. DEN - ORD - AUS:
- UA 800 DEN - ORD 3:10PM - 6:30PM (744)
- UA 7668 ORD - AUS 8:24PM - 11:11PM (E170)

2. DEN - IAH - AUS
- CO 498 DEN - IAH 2:20PM - 5:38PM (752)
- CO 1441 IAH - AUS 7:10PM - 8:13PM (739)

3. DEN - ORD - AUS
- UA 800 DEN - ORD 3:10PM - 6:30PM (744)
- AA 2491 ORD - AUS 8:25PM - 11:15PM (MD80)

Other Ideas:

UA DEN - IAH, CO IAH - AUS (A320, 738/9)
US PHX - IAH, CO IAH - AUS (733, 738/9)
CO PHX - IAH, CO IAH - AUS (738, 738/9)

Hopefully the agents in the PHX RCC are accommodating and receptive to my routing ideas. @:-)

Let me know if you need any advice. I went to school in the area (Miami) and my sister lives north of town in the burbs. CMH is also a bearable drive.

Winner winner. :-:^

I think the Sheraton is this:

It is very close to the airport and I don't know how I feel about 3 nights there.

Mackieman Nov 25, 2009 10:28 am

And now there are only two long term lots open at AUS...

Good afternoon Box. Here I thought today was going to be peaceful day on the job hunt. I've been rather unexpectedly busy this morning. It seems my industry may have discovered something called contract work.

It used to be the Full Moon (or something like that). They've apparently dumped a considerable amount of money into it and it's a bit better.

The challenge I have is the W is the W so redemptions are  (and 1,000/night isn't compatible with my budget) and I don't have enough stock in Hilton to do a full week at the Conrad or the Hilton.

... we shall see.

It's darned cold here in Mdx County, and I have to go and watch Miss TeenBrit play in her football game. Now, don't quote me here, but I think she is an offensive something or other. (in the football game...... and she can be in real life too .....:D)

Now is this footie or American football?
