Yeah, don't get me started. They keep raising the bloody parking fees. The PA is a money pit that everyone just ignores.

I got it too. I bet its going to be packed. I plan on getting there right after work, so around 6:30 and it starts at 7:30. My wife will likely come but if not her ticket is up for grabs.

Yeah, it probably will be packed. The sign up page said that they will oversell to make sure the place is full. Is yours at AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 (not sure if they're during multiple screenings...)?

Today's agent du jour seems to be much better than yesterday's. Although I hear a lot of sighing and heavy breathing (not the good kind) on the other end of the phone.

I don't get this. Has anyone told you why your reservations keep cancelling? You can put my ticketing skills onto a head of a pin but even I know that you can change the ticketing time field to read "forever" instead of 24 hours later.

Right, I figured it would be insane. Close-in parking at SAN was nuts too.

If you're flying out of T2 in SAN, the long term lot is next door to the terminal and generally only $10/day. That's where I always used to park and it was a breeze.

T1 is a different beast though.

I got one as well.

Entertainment Weekly sent me 2 passes to the advance screening of Up in the Air on 12/2 in NYC. ^

If my wife doesn't have any interest in seeing the movie, I may have room for a guest... Unfortunately, the passes are not transferable, so if I am unable to go, they will go to waste.

I got one as well. Now, to juggle my schedule so I can be here and not YUL. :(

"forever" you say? :D

I spoke too soon. Now the agent is telling me that the system won't let her book it because MLE - SIN is a "back track":mad::mad::rolleyes::mad:

They had raised it to $12 per day right before I left SAN, but you're right in that it was incredibly easy to use T2 from there. I used to park fairly close to the edge of that lot and just walk across the street. It even worked ok for a T1 flight because I didn't mind walking the half mile or so in the wonderful SAN evening air. :) Ah...one of the few things I miss about living there.

But, I found the parking garage at the end of Runway 27 had roof parking for $12 also, and you can watch the planes pass 150 feet over your head as they land. Great spot for taking pictures, though that is discouraged and they won't let you up there unless you're actually going to park and take the shuttle to the airport.

I haven't parked at a PA parking lot since I found FT. :-:

Go to India instead? Or is that more the wrong way?
