I find it interesting that I had to pop Dayquil like candy while I was in DEN and PHX but back here in AUS I seem to be just fine. Sinuses are weird.

Last night I made a mention that last night was rather  on the ambulance.

Here's the full story.

Yikes!

In other news -- I won 2 tkts to the 'Up in the Air' premiere screening t'morrow night -- in the Conde Nast Traveler contest. I can't go -- due to 'babysitting' duties'! They are transferable as long as I let them know, ASAP! PM me & give full names, so I can pass on to the appropriate people!

Details are as follows:
The screening will be held at 6:30pm tomorrow, December 1, at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater at 1998 Broadway (at 68th Street). You’ll be on a list at the door, so please let me know — as soon as possible — your full name and that of your guest. Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early, and don’t forget to bring a photo ID with you to pick up your pass. If you’re planning to send someone else in your stead, please give us that person’s name.

Christmas began throwing up all over our house yesterday in full-force - one tree up, several more to go. :)

Our next-door neighbors decorated yesterday, with multiple trees. We're still debating what we'll be putting up this year. We're gone this weekend to LA, so the following weekend we'll deal with it. I'm always late to get decorations up. It probably comes from growing up in a household where a tree was rarely up before December 10, and never taken down until around January 7.

I used to wear a six-foot Santa hat while working in the casinos. I would put it on December 1st and wear it until I left for my customary Christmas trip. I would also wear it in the airport and on the plane, both ways. This picture doesn't show it well, but the barrel of that hat goes down my back and comes back to being over my shoulder.

Oh just admit it, the hat was modified from a rifle case :D.

Oh well more money into the car. No wonder I have no money considering how much I've spent this year on my car replacing things that have just worn out due to age/mileage. I really did want to buy a new car last year.

The lack of major repairs is one reason I'm keeping the ancient Ford on the road.

Just placed an order at giftcertificates.com to take advantage of the Priority Club shopping promo. I needed some Hyatt gift cards anyway.

It seems with the recession, auto repair prices have gone way up. Everything that's needed replacement on my car this year are normal for a car of mines age/milage/driving in NJ, etc. but the timing of all of this is just  The fact that I still have the orginal shocks is amazing.

Last month I flew on the first revenue flight of an E170. They had the "temp tags" up front.
