CO.com says that this MNL fare arrives at 9:40pm on 1/21. I'm thinking about hopping on an MH flight on 1/22 MNL-KUL to hook up with some family for a day or two. MH.com lists a flight and the site is not letting me book. Is it sold out or am I not doing time change math correctly and looking on the wrong day?

MNL is on the same side of the international date line as KUL, so you should arrive MNL on the 21st if you leave the US on the 20th. It is very unlikely that you will get any CO miles for the MH flight. First, the cheapest fare classes on MH earn no miles whatsoever, even in MH's own program. Second, metal controls, as Phudnik stated.

Technically it is 844 McCarter Hwy but numbers will be few and far between on that road.

Exit NJ Tpke at 13A take Route US1 north. Follow signs to NJ 21 direction Newark (that's the only direction) and 21 becomes McCarter Hwy as soon as you enter the city. It will run alongside the elevated railroad tracks for maybe a mile and a half and when it splits off, start looking for Market Street (large cross street) and then Raymond Blvd (another large cross street) with the railroad and bus stations to your right.

Another quarter mile give or take keep looking for a white building on your right with a big sign on its side. It will be hard to miss. There will be what looks like a large theater complex on the left (NJPAC). You can either give your car to the valet or park it yourself in the left hand lot and give the guy a dollar to keep an eye on it.

EUA just came in at T-72 for LAS-IAH even though F is 8/20, still waiting on IAH-LGA

The LX and SK lounges are in the international terminal and IIRC airside. In any case, you would need *G + same day boarding pass to enter either of them.

The LX and SK lounges are in the international terminal, which is separate from the other terminals at ORD. I think (though am not sure) that the only way to get there from T3, where AA is, is on the landside shuttle. If you're on AA your best bet is the small UA lounge in T2 or the DL :rolleyes:Club (former NW/CO club), which should still let you in.

FT Lurker Sr goes to MNL every 6-8 weeks. He flies ORD-HKG and takes either CX or 5J to MNL, depending on whether he has meetings in HKG.

5J is an LCC and they also fly non-stop to KUL. Fares are usually less than half the legacy carriers'.

I didn't know it but I appreciate it.
Got my 24h EUA for the flight home tomorrow and was able to SDC my wife to the earlier flight she needed. All from pool-side. :cool:
