Safe travels to all.

I see the Devils laid an egg last night against a clearly inferior team...three games in three nights should do wonders for the crowd reactions tonight.

Florida outplayed them somewhat but three of the four Florida goals were deflections of point shots and the fourth was a breakaway. Marty did not have much of a chance on any of them.

I left for Atlantic City right after FLL made it 2-0. Hopefully there is some energy to be had tonight, what with the hated Phlyers coming to town.

How many, if any boxers, consider or actually buy travel insurance(something like medex.com) when heading out of the country?

I have travel insurance through the Divers Alert Network, DAN. It isn't limited to diving and their top tier covers evac for anything, not just dive accidents. I think it is something like $125/year or so. Especially because it covers hyperbaric chambers I like it but I understand it to be pretty good "regular" travel insurance, too.

I haven't had to use it yet (thank goodness!) but I like knowing that it is there.

Please lay into Elliott on the radio today. He is such a tool cabinet.

G'Morning, Box.

Diving in FLL was canceled due to high winds. Can't say that I blame them. The ocean looks mighty rough out there today. I'm going to be on a radio call-in chow later this morning. The Rudy Maxa show with Chris Elliott. www.rudymaxa.com. My segment is at 11am EST but apparently it is syndicated and the broadcasts are all over the place in terms of finding it on air. Still should be fun. Another couple seconds of fame.

Were we talking about the BA mistake fare I might. But I like publicity so getting more coverage is good for me. Biting off that hand seems to be a bad plan. :-:

Morning, Box.

I haven't been around (as in, on FT at all!) in almost 2 weeks - between auditioning/casting a show, entertaining guests, doing several ungodly-hour drives to various airports (central NJ to JFK at midnight in the rain is a real ), and playing some holiday gigs, even attempting to catch up was a daunting task.

Many of you hate it, but let's just say that if there hadn't been announcements about the CO SWUs/PP on twitter, I probably would have missed that too!

I've got a fairly crazy week of flying ahead - which cost me a total of $10. On Monday night, I'm going to BOS for a grand total of 14 hours on the ground (big reunion of my college choir for our 100th Christmas Carol Service - oldest one in the US!)...apparently for a 1-night stay all you could get was a B fare (!) so I did the 20K short-haul redemption...and then on Friday I'm doing a one-way award in AA F: LGA-DFW-DEN. The other half of this trip will consist of a 4-day drive in a Jeep (Denver -> York, NE -> Chicago -> Cleveland -> DC).

If the weather is good, we go I-80 and I get three new states (WY, NE, IA); if it's not, we take I-70 and I get two (KS, MO). Hopefully there will be no blizzards!

I would describe him as being nominated for the Craftsman Prize. And I've been quoted by him previously.

I have it with my AMEX card, and it is a paid thing it costs $9.99 a month I think, it covers medical expenses up to half a million, even for non emergency but out of country medical supplement.

It even covers something like $10,000 toward having a family member come to visit you and help you get back on a last minute basis, not bad.

I looked into the coverage on my personal (non-business) AmEx but it seemed to be $9.99 per ticket I purchased (or some such).
