For anyone in LAX area on Sunday, we are having an "Up in the Air" meeting in Century City at 2:35. Likely cocktails will happen at Houston's afterwards.

skywalkerLAX has posted the event in Community Buzz. Let me know if you need directions, etc.

I saw this in Community Buzz! and am very tempted. Off to look at flights for this weekend...

It says there is an AA AC there.

Super last minute upgrade tonight. Apparently 4 confirmed F no--shows at the last minute. The 4th (my companion u/g, aka me) happened well after the door closed. And I self upgraded to prevent any shenanigii.

AA isn't going to work but oh well. OH has a nice link that saved me. Good job on the Companion UG!! Your karma bank account has been advanced mulitple credits.

Self upgrading as deserved gets you a +1. (Let's leave Baglady's hubby out of this. :D )

Upgraded BF, at 1.5 EQMs, with positively silly routings such as MSP-IAH-AUS-IAH-LGW-IAH-DFW-IAH-MSP was kinda fun for $400.;)

was doing some OpenFlight updating and found, confirm e-mail,

I am arriving at 4 on Wed and fly out on Thurs at 6 am. I am at the Hampton Inn near IAD. I may do the museum but will mostly like Lounge hop and get a pic or two for SBM12.

Depends on the destination. I did it when we were in the Maldives as I knew there were not any stellar medical facilities for some distances away. The $100 per person for maximum evac coverage was well worth the peace of mind.

I go to places like CDG and ZRH, which in all likelihood have superior medical care to my hometown ;)

I'm not surprised -- in the analysis, it's really figuring out what the 'risk/reward' is for paying taxes now versus later.

Morning, Box.

Safe travels to all.

I see the Devils laid an egg last night against a clearly inferior team...three games in three nights should do wonders for the crowd reactions tonight.
