It's depressing in The Bay Area.....cold, gray and raining.

Later on this evening we have a football potluck dinner to attend. Wonder if I'll get anything to eat. I'm bring a 10# ham.

I find it interesting that people are complaining about the new Presidential Platinum Invited Level. As if people who spend $30,000 are going to be waiting in front of my counter, checking their PDAs every second for that infamous battlefield upgrade. :p

I had one UA traveler tell me that he is a GS for $50,000.

Very nice - as my goal was below 200 by year end, I am now shooting for "remain below 200".

It's moot for me as I no longer have a traditional IRA. There is the possibility that I could convert an old employer-sponsored retirement fund to a rollover IRA but I have no desire to do so.

Thanks. I'd like to drop 30-40lbs off of whatever the scale says I am on New Year's Day. I'm currently 28 pounds lighter than I was in June of 2008, and I want to have a more productive 18 month-period that the one that closes in January.

Excellent goal. I'm currently at 30 pounds since July 25 so it's definitely doable.

Good for you as well. ^

Seeing the weight at which I start the year will help me figure out how low I want to go. I like to have nice round number of a goal...I'm also one of those people that tips to a rounded bill amount, and I pay credit card payments that result in the remaining balance not having cents on the end.

Röl Hava Yollareyes has a -themed plane.
