Does UA have a way to look at upgrade lists prior to being at the gate a la CO's PDA site?

Hey BIIIIIG Spender.....

I offered to do shrimp, calamari, and some of my other specialties. Let the supervisor suggest what to bring, and I could be generous with bringing spare munitions in both 9 and 40.

Trader Joe's in Westfield carries several varieties.

I think the amount of gas I'd spend getting to Westfield would more than offset the savings.

It was $3.49 (I think) when I last purchased and I picked up a couple cases. And I picked up my Coors Light on the way home from work. Subtracting away the gift cards and rebate, I essentially got 18 beers, a pound of shrimp, half pound of cheese, two small bags of chips, and a frozen pecan pie (for Thursday) at a grand total of $7.

I need you to do my food shopping.

Target has a coupon right now where, if you purchase at least $25 in ankle-socks, in addition to a store-brand modular in-closet storage system, they'll give you control of your own Somali militia and a certified pre-owned Weimaraner. :-:

While a lot of the rebates are state-dependent, I gave you one of the tips a while ago about how to get the rebate forms without visiting the store. I also got the gourmet pizza / Heineken rebate check yesterday - another case of the rebate amount completely covering the beer.

Looking at hotels in Luxor, Egypt. Many seem available for <$50/night. We've got a 10pm departure and I'm thinking I'll just book the room for the second night so as to have a place to leave our stuff and shower pre-flight.

Are they chain hotels and adjacent (e.g. "can you switch for another stay credit / miles / points")?

I believe the answer is no but I'm not positive. Maybe 95% certain.

Decidedly not. The chain properties are not in my ballpark. No way I'm dropping $250-350 for a Starwood or Hilton property. It can't be that much nicer.

I'm tempted by the $175/night for the Sofitel (I'd only pay the one night for that one) but it is a bit out of the way. Or I'll be picking up a stay at the Emilio, Philippe, Gaddis or St. Joseph.

I agree - never been to Luxor but there are some hotels I deem worthy of using points for a one-day experience (Trianon Palace in Versailles, Park Hyatt anywhere ...).

I hear those three are members of GCI (Grupo Claudio Internacional).
