Same here, been up since 3:30AM to get the wife off to PHX, long day for me tomorrow as I work and then fly to PHX myself, albeit with a two hour layover in the AUS PC. :D

Night, Box.

I think I may have made my overly sensitive (male) realtor cry. I don't think we've been too difficult and we came to him AFTER we found the property so there wasn't much work for him to do other than negotiate the things we want ie. specific parking spot and a few other small things but we had to go back and fourth on and we wouldn't budge. I sent him a text telling him we were out of attorney review and I needed to drop on the second deposit by Monday and would like to show the condo to my sister-in-law on Friday afternoon. He responded with "I'm out of town and its a holiday weekend. I have secured everything you wanted and even called the sellers attorney on behalf of your financial interest" to which I responded "I'm glad you are doing your job and this is why we reached out to you to represent us over the realtor that was showing the property because we felt you would better represent us" He then texted me back "Fine, I have just done everything for you. I hope you have a good Thanksgiving"

My wife thinks I can be too hard on people but she doesn't even think I have been hard on him. I think he needs to get his panties out of a wad and man up. He gets really flustered when we ask a lot of questions but overall he has done a pretty good job.

Where are you flying out of if you have a layover in AUS?

I found FT too late. This post was linked from the BA forum - there was a period of time when one could order 21 subscriptions to Inside Flyer and earn enough Starwood points to transfer to QF to fly Concorde roundtrip

Yup...it was one of the best FF promos ever. Randy bought a TON of SPG points to convert for those rewards.

I'm guessing because of the F5. They can still op up without having to VDB.

CO did this on my EWR-HAM trip back in April. They were over by 7 or 9 in the back but had the seats open up front so I got an OpUp on a $450 TATL r/t fare. Not bad at all. Having that extra $3K in the bank was better for CO than having nothing, right?

I remember the days when the Concorde was listed on the OnePass reward charts. 200K miles IIRC.

+1. If he doesn't understand he's dealing with people spending many hundreds of thousands of dollars on an important decision, he needs to re-assess his line of work.

And how do you value the goodwill and public relations garnered from OpUping you and the others. Mrs. MBM3 and I got an OpUp to CDG and we both chirped about it for months.

Then again, I also thought it was payback for not doing the same on our honeymoon (and we went out with open seats up front).

I found myself actually looking at the potential for an opup on the $230 JFK-BCN fare... :D Both flights look fairly full, but an opup seems to be a long shot.

I bet he did. I would have definitely partaken of said offer.

I was stated as second on the list for an OpUp on the JFK-ZRH; the FAs were discussing the issue in case more people showed.

Me as well. My uncle flew it a couple times and said it was amazing, but not as posh as one might imagine (or dream). Still, what a thrill!

Ball State / W. Mich is developing into a great CFB game. 16-17 with 12 minutes remaining in the 4th.CF

I heard the experience was confining but beautiful at the same time.
