Target has a coupon right now where, if you purchase at least $25 in ankle-socks, in addition to a store-brand modular in-closet storage system, they'll give you control of your own Somali militia and a certified pre-owned Weimaraner. :-:

The Canuck "LOL'ed" at this post. :-:

Is Not Possible. Ammo costs too much to outfit a militia that would then need to be staged / re-deployed.

Off to racquetball.

Is SDC still available online after you check in?

They only operate in the red for the first few months. Once they bag their first Panamanian or Liberian flagged freighter, it's all gravy from there. :-:

Dunno. It seems the more time I spend in Teh Box, the less I know about CO and OnePass. :-:

Grrrr...just had major  with my dentist. Nothing dental related. Sat there for 25 minutes after my cleaning waiting for my 2 minute checkup while he bullpooped with a salesperson....

This post really hit home to me.

A few years ago I was having trouble down there and was referred to a proctologist who saw me right away and told me to drop my drawers and he'd be right back.

All of a sudden I realized that thru the wall I could hear him having a conversation with a drug detail salesman. Ten minutes with my a** blowing in the breeze was enough and I was outa there. I do wonder if he ever remembered that I had been in that examining room.

Yes. Just go back to the OLCI page.

At least it worked that way last time I tried.

Don't know the answer - can you call to be "unchecked in" if there's a problem?

I agree - never been to Luxor but there are some hotels I deem worthy of using points for a one-day experience (Trianon Palace in Versailles, Park Hyatt anywhere ...).

I agree re one-time experiences and getting peak value for the points. I'm getting a decent value for some HH points in Hurghada the three nights I need them there prior to Luxor. The stuff on the waterfront is crazy expensive thanks to it being Christmas week and I have the points so I'm cashing them in. If I had a sufficient stock I'd probably do the same in BCN over New Years. But when there is a completely passable hotel available at 1/4 the price the brand draw just doesn't do much for me.

At least we're not going for a hostel. ;)

Indeed, this is the case. LAX also features free finger food in the evening when the Qantas flights are moving. HNL features free wine and beer. IMHO, the best part of the ACs is that in Dallas, all feature showers!:-: The showers in Concourse A referred to on the AA Board as "rain showers" is amazing! I realize that the none of the above is likely of any use, but I really like them.

Are they as nice as PCs or SCs? If you like free booze, then no. Certainly, easier though to find showers in them than in the SCs.

Does HNL still offer full bar for a charge, too? And I'm assuming that all the international lounges are respectable enough for complimentary open bar, right?

Shame there wasn't a repeat of the Hilton Hurghada mistake rate from last year. It was $19/night or so, IIRC.

icurhere2 Nov 24, 2009 3:51 pm

I have never stayed in a hostel and don't want to start during this phase in my life.

I haven't gotten in on a hotel's mistake rate yet. I know that's shocking.
