Imagine flying TATL for meetings and being back in your own bed the same evening.

I was happy to get to fly IAD-LHR on the BA flight that wasn't a red-eye (same day arrival due to early departure) when I was in the private sector.

Does UA have a way to look at upgrade lists prior to being at the gate a la CO's PDA site?

Sadly, no.

Too bad we'll be on a FRA flight otherwise there may be some bumping!

Vehicle registration doesn't do a darn lick of good anywhere but in the car. Why carry around extraneous documents?

Unless you're in NYC where if you can't produce your registration while filing a report they won't. (Unless that is recently changed).

That was one of Guliani's tricks to drop the car theft rate. "If you can't produce your registration, then it can't be considered a theft".

One of the NY'ers can confirm or deny this, but i vaugley remember that being the case.

I would be listening to / negotiating offers.

A lot of the transatlantic flights are very solid tomorrow. It took me quite a bit of digging to find out with a fair number of C seats so I could shoot for an upgrade.

So I am at a TreeTree, and it has been quite a while since I've regularly watched Teevee, and I'm watching my first ever episode of "The Hills." Is it normal to wish everlasting torment on each and every cast member after watching just a single episode?

I found FT too late. This post was linked from the BA forum - there was a period of time when one could order 21 subscriptions to Inside Flyer and earn enough Starwood points to transfer to QF to fly Concorde roundtrip

BA use to offer airline employees a special 50% off fare for the Concorde. I always thought that I would have enough time to fly it. Unfortunately I never did.
