First time flying out of C in forever. Forgot to print my BP; Elite line in E was way long, able to go paperless. Not a big fan...just need to get more comfortable w/ it. Wound up printing my BP from a kiosk.

The lady in front of me is off to NRT; flight is delayed until 2:45pm.

Beat the hell outta Baylor!

You know, I prefer the browser on my old World Edition BB to the Tour 9630.

Reata up in DFW is ok, but the one down in Alpine is *much* better. Only downside is flying to MAF and driving 150mi.... Or find a private charter into ALP. ;)

Side note, the BB8830 browser is . I'm stuck on one right now.

I think my parents and I ate at Reata at the new int'l terminal there in '06. The FW location is fine...been there a couple of times. I need to head out to Alpine sometime. Flying into MAF is fine for me...went to elem school in Odessa and still have friends there, as well as The Tall City.

I just hope The Rattlesnake is being exhibited at the Carter; last time I was there I didn't see it.

^^

I was wondering which game you guys were going to this year. College Gameday just said that the KKK is holding a pre-game rally there today.

I slept something like 10 hours last night. I still plan on taking a nap later during football. :D

This 777 issue is getting to be serious. :(

Morning, Box.

Upside: CO.com now shows me as a Silver.

Downside: The agent who I thought was so nice - - I gave her the ticket number and she validated the segments...status has posted but other three flights have not. Poo. Will call on Monday...first call took half an hour, we'll see about the next one.

On today's list:
Babies R'Us (friend's shower that other half can't get to in two weeks)
Toys R'Us (Mom errand)
Local German butcher for Thanksgiving stuffed bread orders

For anyone interested in a MacBook, Microcenter has one of the new Aluminimum MacBook (not Pro) for $799.

They are selling them online but they claim they may or may not be available. The only store with any inventory is in Dallas. You can buy 'em online and the store will hold 'em for a few days. :)

And, yes, I did think of heading down to DFW to pick some up.

There is one on ebay that's up to $905 and amazon has 'em for $1499. The Apple store is selling a refurb for of the same model for $899.

More proof that union leadership groups really are quite retarded. They are shooting themselves in the foot by taking job actions. It would behoove them to do everything possible to make nice with the company during negotiation time. After all, dopey union leadership is why Boeing opened that plant in South Carolina.

Particularly as a student of history, I understand why labor unions initially came to fruition and what purpose they served back then. What I fail to comprehend is why the labor groups of today believe that 'us versus them' is a smart thought process to pursue.

I just had an icurhere2™ coupon kind of morning.^ Though I'm a rank amateur in comparison.:D Saved a bunch on groceries and took advantage of the $10 bonus at Coinstar. I'll do that again next week and send the rebate to a friend.

Now I'm about to jump into making some hors d'oeuvres for friends who are coming into town later. Yummy. Beer and wine is chilling.:-:

Wish I would have known, I'm hanging out in the E club for another 20 minutes. My paperless boarding pass wouldn't scan this morning so I was forced to print it.

I had to explain the difference between HND and NRT to the PClub agents who were trying to rework a flight for a couple of guys.

There was a 777 in the maintenance hangar that looked like it had been pretty heavily stripped down.

If you want to buy one, i am passing through there on Tuesday on my way to East Texas for thanksgiving, I'll be glad to pick it up but may need some extensive communications to get something you purchased picked up, I can then ship it to you either Friday or Monday.

I think the picture is off. The new MacBooks are not aluminum, only the Pro models are. The new MacBooks look like this: http://www.apple.com/macbook/ Just an update to the white clamshell.

I see the refurb: http://store.apple.com/us/product/FB...co=MTA4MzIyODg but that is one that was built before they added the "Pro" name to the 13" aluminum.
