Very slow evening here in PC at IAH C South. There are about 10 of us in this place and it is as quiet as I have seen it in quite a while. Heading back to CLE in about an hour after spending Friday and Today working. Will get Sunday off and then on call for Thanksgiving week.

On another note, found out that UA does DEQMs differently than CO. Apparently, UA only doubles base miles and segments and then just adds the premium for full fare flights on to that total. So, for a single segment flight, if it is flown in F or Y, you get 2.5 segments after the doubling, not 3, since they will double your 1 segment to 2 and then add the .5 bonus to that.

So, you ask, why do you care. I had my travels with UA worked out to just make 30 segments for 2P status and it turns out that the devaluation of the bonus now leaves me 0.5 segments short of 2P :eek:
Now I may have to credit one of my CO flights coming up in the near future to UA to get that final segment. The good news is that I should be flying a few Kenjet segments where it will not matter who I credit the flight to.

Short by 0.5 segments has got to hurt.

I'm not surprised the PC is empty. Traffic was very light yesterday morning. It seems everyone when on vacation for turkey day already.

Understand - I was off reading and am hoping those brats soak up some beer pretty quickly.

Mine's only 12 years old, 35 year shingles, not a single drip anywhere and then this year 4 different places. You'd think HO insurance would cover but has to be wind driven rain, so I don't know weather to rip a piece or two of some shingles off or not...........................

$62 a night is a very good rate - you're not doing multiple stays on the same night, are you? I've never tried that activity.
