I'm at the seafood counter to buy some shrimp and out from the back comes a Japanese guy in uniform. He also said that this guy makes the sushi for a whole line of the stores in this area.

I did not try to special order, just bought some of the sashimi which the shrimp guy told me had just been put out within the last half hour. It certainly was acceptable so I surprisingly can get that stuff at Publix whenever that sushi chef is there.

Our Publix has freshly made sushi every day, yes including Sunday, and most of it is gone by 1 PM. We are fortunate that our sushi chef does speak some English so the customers are able to communicate what they want.

^^

I was wondering which game you guys were going to this year. College Gameday just said that the KKK is holding a pre-game rally there today.

I slept something like 10 hours last night. I still plan on taking a nap later during football. :D

The rally was not neear us thankfully. This place is on a whole other level. Fozz and cmike would go crazy as every girl wears boots with dresses to party and to game.

I can attest to the veracity of this statement.

Yep -- the joys of parenthood -- feeling loved, though -- he needs lots of hugs!;)

I ran out Wednesday or Thursday - was on my "To Do List" Thursday (got distracted after office hours) and Friday (didn't want to go to a specific store en route on a Friday evening). Made martinis instead Thursday / Friday (and had port Friday), managing to break a martini glass putting them back in the cabinet this morning.

And I will need to get more vermouth shortly.

Christmas decorating has reached critical mass in the Mackie household. If anyone needs me, I'll be spreading fake snow across the wet bar.

And here I thought I was going to be early this year by putting up the outside stuff on Wednesday instead of after turkey day. Wednesday will be in the upper 50's while Friday and beyond are in the low 40's.

The Grove / pre-game and Vol Walk / pre-game are two very distinct types of events.

Yep, they wanted pics (belynch, in particular) when I told them that when I did my mediation stint in court last week -- I was wearing a skirt suit w/black knee-high boots!;):D So, I was getting a lot of 'attention' from the mostly male attys at the courthouse!
